At my weekly visit today at 26 Federal Plaza, there was just one detainee and many fewer ICE agents. It's clear that the agents have been relocated to airports to "help" TSA. ICE also admitted last week that they’ve been violating their own policy by arresting people in immigration courthouses. No agents were outside of courtrooms today. I am waiting for more answers from Secretary Markwayne Mullin about this egregious violation of law and policies as we keep fighting to hold ICE accountable in New York.
