it started with simple live tracking, i found the nose and ears was the best for face orientation as well as the paws and joints for gestures

with the face orientation working i could then track where the dog was looking

from there i could get through a clone i made of my favorite head tracking demo and see how the dog reacts. some better than others

including playing my favorite flash game, its hard to tell what the dog is thinking

if the dogs face could be tracked then it could push buttons the computer, this mean they could place their own amazon order of dog food when needed

the gestures were interesting, you dont need to track that much beyond the joints and face. could we train a dog when the owner goes off to work? its something i am still looking at. the most important part is knowing when a trick has been attempted and "failed"

my friends dog is the smartest i met so far, he can repeatedly use each paw over and over which was great for letting him scroll dogtok

@paulg the university of nebraska made some open source hardware for reliable / programmatic treat dispensing you might want to look into it, it's perfect for integrating with this kind of stuff

@paulg You should build an integration with @WagWalking so dogs can schedule walks when they see its a nice day out and want some exercise. Just let me set a budget so my dog doesn't bankrupt me :)
