I have deduced that despite Shadow Generations being good, it still cannot match the greatness of Sonic Generations Shadow still has some Forces DNA with its movement and level design that was gained when Sonic Gens' gameplay engine was scrapped for Lost World's inferior one

Your right, shadow gens is far easier to master because of it’s simpler controls, once you know the skips you can do a perfect run no problem unlike gens where perfect runs take skill

Exactly I feel like I've already mastered Shadow Gens yet I'm still finding ways to optimise Sonic Gens 13 years later

Shadow Gens is a repurposed Frontiers which is a repurposed Forces which is a repurposed Lost World

Sonic Gens has better level design, but he feels like a tank. Shadow Gens is slower and has more of its control based on precision. But comparing this to forces? No. Not even close. I will admit Spear Gliding saved the game for me. It’s what makes it almost better than Og Gens.

I think if you want to make claims like this you need to be more specific than “forces dna” It just sounds like buzzword soup
