@Lowcountry1Girl Rumor has it that her faucet is still running

@kellytx2 You mean wash off the hot dogs and then place them on a dirty counter? Nooe

No, for the world’s best hotdog just put the hotdog in the bun, wrap it in a paper towel completely, microwave for 45 seconds or so. You can thank me later

Sounds good to me👏👏👏

Don’t do that. No mention of a paper towel that isn’t treated with chemicals. Be safe out there.

@AmericanMama Can still put them on a plate and not get hot dog juice all over your counter and micro

@ArchKennedy Weirdest post I’ve ever seen 🤣 what did I just watch. 🤷♀️

I do this but with dry paper towels.

Real men eat them frozen

Bahahahah. When I was a kid, I’d eat them straight out of the wrapper.

I microwave them without the dressing and they turn out great.

Wow, good to know. Thank you.

Maybe try 30 second intervals to get to best done.

They cook fast.

It’s 2026, the AirFryer makes this method look silly. Step up your hotdog game.
Slice them lengthways and smash onto a hot griddle or frying pan. After a minute, flip’em over. So much better than a boiled hotdog.

Never!

First of all, this is fucking stupid! Secondly, who doesn’t cook their hotdogs in butter on a frying pan? Tf wrong with people.

I fry eggs over easy in the microwave.

You are King of the microwave 😂😂😂😂😂

Ok so she added fluoride, chlorine, forever chemicals and synthetic fibers to her already toxic af sausages? Does she hate her family?

When I was younger, my 10 y.o. stepbrother took a pack of frozen hot dogs into the bathtub while he took a bath. Step-mom walked in to find him in the tub with 2 hot dogs floating in the dirty tub water and half of one in his hand. He had already eaten 5. 🤮

Ya.. use a pan, a little butter and cook them. From Grok: Bounty paper towels, made by Procter & Gamble, are primarily composed of virgin wood pulp (from softwood and hardwood trees) and water, with added conditioners or strength-enhancing agents to improve softness, durability, and absorbency. They do not contain formaldehyde (raw materials are checked to ensure none is present, and it's not added during manufacturing). The pulp is bleached using an Elemental Chlorine Free (ECF) process, meaning no elemental chlorine gas is used—instead, chlorine dioxide or similar compounds are employed. This significantly reduces (but does not entirely eliminate) the formation of dioxins and furans compared to older methods, and P&G states that the process is not harmful to people or the environment. No official sources confirm the addition of PFAS ("forever chemicals") in Bounty products, though some independent discussions note that PFAS can appear unintentionally in paper products from contamination or recycled content (Bounty uses virgin pulp, so this risk is lower). Printed varieties may have inks, but P&G recommends using the unprinted side for food contact to minimize transfer.

No one intelligent would do this.

No I just blow em up in the microwave, slap em in a bun, slather them with mustard and devour them like a normal person

Eww off the counter?

@KEVINMAGA2024 What, wash my Weiner? It's a loaded question

No. I don’t like using microwaves.

The water is still running to this day

Those are $9/pack of Ball Park BEEF dogs in Norcal at Safeway. NO SHIT. $9 for a pack of 8. They are $10.98 for a pack of 24 Ball Park BEEF dogs at Sams. Same city. Why? Because the NIGS steal them blind.

What kind of psychopath just puts food directly on the microwave tray? Use a paper plate you filthy animal.

Air fryer for the win.

Waste of time and paper towels.

Why even bother washing them off when you’re wrapping them in a paper towel that has God knows what on them???

I also roast peanuts

I prefer to split them and grill them in a pan.

@KEVINMAGA2024 Of course I’ve washed my wiener!

🤮

Wrap the hot dog in a paper towel, then moisten the wrapped hot dog under the faucet. Microwave 30 seconds on high. Unwrap the hot dog. Save the towel. Put the hot dog in a bun and wrap the whole thing with the damp towel. Zap for 15 seconds more. Steamed perfection!
