Dear Mr. @DavidLega, Thank you for your clear voice calling out @UNRWA for its complicity with Hamas. I agree with everything you said except one word. "Sustainable." The organization that replaces UNRWA - and it must be replaced - must be designed in such a way that it is NOT sustainable. It must be designed to provide short-term aid to the people in need, and to create a path whereby it will not be needed in a few years. It must make plans that guarantee that it will "put itself out of business" by resolving the challenging circumstances of the people it aids. Ands it must incentize its staff and leadership towards that goal. It must ensure that children are not "educated" towards hatred and that its staff do not incite violence. It must build programs that generate pathways to economic stability, rather than cover up underground building projects which lead to both economic and well as physical ruin. Replacing the terrible UNRWA with another organization with the same goal of perpetuating the downtroden status of the Palestinian people will inevitably result in the exact same outcome. and @UNLazzarini are criminals who have built up; funded; and support a massive army, and network of hamas terrorists. @UNRWA must be: Defunded Disbanded Dissolved Prosecuted, and tried. The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees @Refugees handles all the LEGITIMATE refugees IN THE WORLD. Why do the palestinians get their own agency. They are not special in any way, shape, or form. All of the donor Countrys’ taxpayers are being raped! Palestinians get double the amount of money other refugees get. And they also double fund thousands, and thousands more Gazans, and hamas employees; than ALL the other refugees.

There is already a proper organisation for refugees, that does what UNRWA is supposed to be doing with a fraction of its budget. The UNHCR. Unlike UNRWA it isn't a front for HAMAS and has temporary status for refugees (UNRWA consider anyone of Palestinian descent even those having statehood/citizenship elsewhere, regardless of money or status to be a refugee. Go figure...)

@ZevBenMeirBC UNRWA needs to be shut down and Palestinian living in Gaza & the West Bank supported through the UNHCR like all other refugees around the world. All refugees deserve consistent & equal treatment & one UN agency serving the needs of many countries is best.

Stop providing billions of aid and weapons to Israel and stop vetoe-ing pro-Palestine resolutions in UN. If Palestinians have equal rights and the refugees are allowed to return, they won't need UNRWA or any other charity
