I have never once seen a post office employee pull into someone’s driveway just to avoid getting out of their seat. Imagine being this fat and lazy. According to the USPS website, packages that don’t fit in the mailbox are required to be placed by the door of the residence.

Parnas: Are you at all concerned about the USPS mail-in ballot rule they’re floating, where they may not send mail-in ballots to your state if you don’t comply with all of their directives, essentially by sending voter rolls and other information to the government? Fontes: I think the courts are going to put the kibosh on that. But also, a lot of people don’t know that the USPS has a universal service obligation. Once a piece of mail gets into their hands, they’re mandated by law to move it through their system and get it where it needs to go.

This woman went to the USPS office in Boca Raton, Florida. She had three small packages and when she took them to the counter this clerk refused to take her packages. She wanted a receipt and he said since he was alone he wanted her to use the automated kiosk. She explained to him that USPS had lost a package of hers previously and since she used the kiosk that time, they said she had no proof that she shipped the package out, (She even paid extra for insurance, had the receipt and USPS denied her claim). Another clerk told her to always hand the package to a clerk to assure getting an acceptance scan. But as you can see, this guy has a total attitude. Tells her to go talk to his supervisor and then tells her he will clock out before he scans her packages. This is unacceptable behavior. The USPS offices seem to be lacking professionalism these days. I make it a point not to go there myself. Forget about the receipt, what if you just don’t want to use the self automated kiosk? If you don’t like the job then don’t work there. 💯 Do you still go to and use the post office? What would you do if you had this guy refusing to help you?

This is a huge fear of mine, if my child ever locked themself into a room and couldn’t get back out. I always avoid this by changing all of the door knobs in a house when I move in. I take the key and always label it , make copies and keep it in a safe spot. This woman unfortunately didn’t have the key to all of her doors when she moved in. Her toddler locked herself into the room and she couldn’t get in by any conventional means. So she ended up having to break the door to gain access. I’ve always felt that many landlords don’t take the precautions they need to make sure that this doesn’t happen with their tenants. It’s such a preventable incident that ends up costing quite a bit of money to repair. I’ve only had to cut into a door once to gain access and it wasn’t a fun process, hopefully the landlord has a better way to fix this without having to replace the entire door.
