What a load of tribalist shit 🚮

Profilbild von Nokkie
Nokkievor 5 Monaten

Nonsense! This is exactly the kind of tribalism that has held back so many talented artists over the years. It’s the same experience that legendary artists like Majaivana faced. Too often, artists are only recognised if they are based in or promoted from Harare, while equally gifted talent from other regions is overlooked. Remember Majaivana’s timeless song Isono Sami? Despite producing music that touched hearts across Zimbabwe and beyond, he never received the recognition he truly deserved. Talent should be celebrated regardless of tribe, language, or geographical location.

This guy might have delivered his points vaguely and in an unpalatable way, but he has some few valid points there.

Let me correct this guy. KoBulawayo ayikho into esihlanganisa lesishona. That's what he means when he says Mthwakazi people dont see themselves as zimbabweans. He means we are not shona.

How can very low IQ people like these manage to locate each other? Not only that, how do they manage to convince each other to seat, talk and record themselves for the whole world to listen? Dumb people are dangerous.

Take emotions out of it, you'll get what he said. I see the tribalism card already flying, that's exactly his point, y'all enjoy victimizing yourselves yet his opening example was mwana anouya pamba and feels like an outsider forgetting mwana wepamba ipapo!

You want us to believe that talent is in Harare, a lier, Talents and intelligence are evrywhere, what is not everywhere is opportunities, Those that you alude are vybing in Harare what's stopping them becoming international artists, it means you celebrate unripen music

Tribalism in Zimbabwe is in every facet of everyday life, this is the reason why Ndebele should be made a mandatory subject from primary to secondary school

I'm from Bulawayo and i think you have a point there , how can this be addressed? Zulu people should chase us from south africa until we understand that we are not part of them and we will never be.

Anyone denying this fact, is either emotional or delusional. These are hard core facts, support each other first push your music and talent. You can't wait for us to push your music. There is not tribal card here, no emotions

Maybe if a child gets treated like an outsider for so long they just start to behave like one? I don’t like how people from Mashonaland talk about how Bulawayo people behave like South Africans and prefer consuming SA culture without interrogating where that comes from.

@mukuru101010 Podcasts have given low iq people a voice. He could have delivered his point in a better way. If a step child is constantly reminded that they are step children, he will not feel fully comfortable being in the house. Perhaps we should remind him that
