Let's make some observation s: 1. Too early for Erika to address the public - 48 hours 2. White is not traditional Catholic color for deceased, black is 3. She was too calm 4. Felt synthetic 5. Smiled off camera like a Sandy Hoax crisis actor. Not real.

Oh, FFS. You people are delusional. She has righteous anger. Her husband was brutally, brutally assassinated IN FRONT OF HER 3 YEAR OLD, for God’s sake. Now you’re trying to pick apart her “performance”? Seriously? Get help.

Everything seems fake

MaverickMagician's profile picture

Completely disagree. She is clearly grieving and will be for the rest of her life. But she is strong and his unwarranted murder has set alight a fire in her (it’s called rage) and rage is a powerful motivator. She will use her rage and invest it into Charlie’s purpose to help her life make sense after his death. Making the TPUSA bigger is both a way to honour him and stay connected with him. It’s also a way to ensure that the crazy lefties know they haven’t won (despite taking the love of her life and father of her children). Her world has just been shattered, and every human brain needs Direction, Path and Outcome. Now she has these 3 she or rather her brain knows how to move forward.

Rage might fuel politics, but it doesn’t build the kingdom of God. The fruit of the Spirit isn’t rage—it’s love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance (Gal. 5:22-23). Turning grief into a PR machine for TPUSA isn’t the same as lifting up Christ. If the focus isn’t Jesus and His gospel, then it’s just another empire of man

@Michell80753669 So profoundly true. Thank you so much for saying this.

@TNTJohn1717 Rage is also only part of what she’s feeling. I hear incredible love in her tribute. And joy, and faith.

God forbid people process grief in different ways and in different moments. Is she supposed to be sobbing non-stop for the rest of her life?🤷‍♂️

PaulsCorner-VerseQuest's profile picture
PaulsCorner-VerseQuest1 year ago

Of course grief looks different for everyone. But let’s not confuse grief with a PR tour. When your husband just died and the first thing you do is pledge to ‘make TPUSA the biggest thing this nation has ever seen,’ that’s not mourning—it’s marketing. There’s a difference.

We are way too cynical. I question your effectiveness as a "Pastor"

PaulsCorner-VerseQuest's profile picture
PaulsCorner-VerseQuest1 year ago

I don’t mind you questioning my effectiveness as a pastor—iron sharpens iron. But let me question in return: if we can’t discern the difference between genuine grief and a well-crafted PR rollout, how effective are we at being watchmen? (Ezek. 33:6). A pastor is called to warn, not just clap along with the crowd.

@LoneStarAvenge1 Imagine if the apostles didn't use Jesus' plan for a well-crafted PR rollout after his death. As stated previously, @TPUSA was Charlie's ministry, and she is vowing to continue and grow it .... not comparing CK to Jesus but hope you see the comparison.

PaulsCorner-VerseQuest's profile picture

Captain, that’s exactly the problem—you’re speaking as though Charlie Kirk left us a Great Commission to finish. He didn’t. Christ did. (Matt. 28:18-20). The apostles weren’t running a PR campaign; they were eyewitnesses of a risen Savior who commanded them to preach the gospel to every creature. That’s the difference. Elevating Charlie’s “mission” as though it parallels Jesus’ command is how men get replaced with movements, and the cross gets sidelined for causes.

Yeah, I'm going to have to call bullshit on this laughable performance. She's obviously acting ...and she's a BAD actress at that. It's an insult to my intelligence. Meryl Streep could have delivered those lines so much better.

Seriously though, just 2 days after your husband was brutally executed in front of you and your child you record a video like this? It is strange. I mean maybe take like a week to grieve in private first before you start talking about the future of TPUSA.

We can all see something is way off. I believed the incident the day of, because initially the shock of it all was very strong. But then weird videos like this and the mannequin prop in the casket, Masonic rings. Then the Masonic number 33 wrapped into this story also etc etc. it just seemed like another 9:11 incident to shock us. No one has mentioned the plane that took off Provo airport 30 min later and the location transponder was turned off.

I had a very close friend loose her husband to an overdose. She had moments like this that she could keep it together and moments she just couldn't. She now is trying to figure out how to get involved in the community to prevent od deaths. I think this a normal response.

PaulsCorner-VerseQuest's profile picture
PaulsCorner-VerseQuest1 year ago

I’m not denying people grieve in different ways. But notice—your friend turned her loss into prevention, pointing outward to help others. That’s different than turning grief into a polished PR campaign to expand an organization. One flows from brokenness, the other from branding.
