Pfft, amateurs. When I worked at McDonalds, like 20+ years ago, we had someone call in and ask if we could do 300 cheesburgers and 150 regular burgers. There were two of us in the kitchen that day. Instead of freaking out - we gamified it. We had two cook-lines, so we each took one, locked eyes, started the first one and raced to see who could do the most. If you gamify things, it makes it a lot more enjoyable. We had them ready in no time. (The grills can cook up to 18 burgers in under a minute at that location)

Don’t do this. It’s annoying and so time consuming especially if you’re at peak rush😬😬. I work for a pizza company and someone once ordered 30 XL pizzas 180 wings and 25 Breadsticks. It took us almost two hours to get everything done and that was on top of doing other orders

I worked at McDonald’s. I know the feeling. My manager would have canceled the order and told them they had to phone in an order with a minimum of a 2 hour wait time.

I'm used to work at McDonald's and we got big orders for a church that was 30 mcchickens and 70 cheeseburgers but 99 bacon double qp us crazy it would take forever to make all that at least 1 hour probably longer

This reminds me of this video I saw where this person ordered liked 8000 water cups cause the the drive thru was using an AI instead of actual people but when they order was about to go through an actual took over for the AI

I would just start cranking them out and get it done. Crying like a little baby isn't going to help at all. I remember working at Jack in the Box right out of high school and dealing with college kids buying 100 orders of egg rolls and taco's on a weekend. That's 300 damned egg rolls and 200 taco's. We kept them in stock knowing that these kids did that on the regular.
