Reminds me of 48 Laws of Power when Michelangelo was asked to chip at the nose of a sculpture a bit because the nose looked too big. Instead of chipping it, Michelangelo pretended he was while sprinkling dust down as if he did. Nobody was the wiser, he finished the work.

Sometimes you have to pretend to do something to please someone, placebo can be the key to satisfaction
