Eh... yes but no. On one hand, I don't really embrace the notion that a group of people must contribute something to the world in order to "deserve a state". Many countries just exist, perhaps because they were there first, perhaps because they were kicked out of other places, etc. Sure, it's great if a people can contribute to the world! But I don't think that's a good criteria for "deserving a state". On the other hand, "Palestinians" aren't even a people per se, they're rebranded expat Jordanians and Egyptians. Their focus on violent means to achieve genocidal ends definitely makes them UNDESERVING of a state, in my book. Cheese notwithstanding, of course.
