He 100% should have started this way, as a scene stealing savage villain. Then down the line, he needs the JL's help or they need his help to defeat a threat, they form a desperate alliance, he becomes an anti-hero. This worked well in the comics.

You're expecting THIS Black Adam from James Gunn? You can't be serious. James Gunn will jave him making fart gags in the middle of the scene. He just as bad as that other hack Taki Watiki.

True…. I hated the fact he didn’t have to pointy ears, hair and an old school accent. Been asleep for 5k years and has an American accent lol.
