I Hope This Helps: “white family”

Note: This is the case as of today on Apple's iOS. I also tried it on Android and it did suggest "family" after "white".

To those who say using “Caucasian” instead of “White” suggests “family,” you’re right. But there’s an inconsistency: I can’t recall the last time I heard “Caucasian” used in social media, news, or everyday conversations. “White” is far more common. But even if we follow the accuracy logic, then “Black” shouldn’t suggest “family” either and should instead be replaced with “African American” or “African” for consistency.

@Apple @tim_cook Why are you folks so against “white” family? And you don’t seem to have any problem with black/hispanic/yellow families?

Yep, I tried it. Apple doesn’t recognize white family.

Type in President and see what you get.

@Apple doesn’t recognize President Trump either. When I type President it suggests obama and biden

Try typing President and then see what pops up: I have had Biden and Obama and even Carter but not Trump: I have to almost spell it out.

Another reason to not buy Apple products.
