I got a shot in the bottom of my foot once, and the pain went from 0 to 1000 instantly. I felt a bolt of pain shoot all the way up to the middle of my back. It was so intense, I was begging him to pull the needle out. Literally begging him. Felt like an eternity.

Just knock me out, put a rag of ether on my mouth like its the 1800's or something.

That needle hit bone, been there Don't know why they stick it in a bent knee though, never seen that in 25yrs of getting shots in both knees

That is definitely a red and additional yellow lollipop procedure. 😂 I’ve had to get my knees aspirated more times than I care to admit and the numbing it easily one of the most painful things I’be gone through. It’s not just the burning, but the pressure of the fluid going in.

I've had many multiple knee shots. I have never had any doctor spray the numbing and simultaneously inject the cortisol or steroid. You have to let the spray work for a damn second before you inject. My injections were almost always painless. Why is that Dr in a rush?

Shouldn’t hurt at all. not sure what kind of shots you got . Six months I Get Cortisone. Some use ultrasound, to guide the needle, which is cool. you lay down straight never seen anybody do it like that. Bummer.

He disnt spray it long enough, no wonder it hurt! It was BARELY 3 seconds.

I don't know why doctors can't ever figure out that the most pain is from the push and to slow the fawk down pushing the stuff in. The needle stings, but when they push the stuff, holy hell it's way way worse. But newp, slow with the needle and bam, push as hard as they can....
