Loud it! Push it! It is a worthy cause and will be the best achievement of this 10th senate thus far. Personally, I have not seen any sensible thing that this senate has achieved after 1 year.

The creation of anioma state didn’t start from you that’s first. Second if you’re hosting people from the east that’s your personal business Lastly for you to even think of adding the state to south east made it an impossible movement, those in Abuja won’t be there if they love their state so much. Indigene of delta north who live and work here and the ones to make the decisions. I just hope you’re retrace your step. When you were campaigning you were in delta north now you’re hosting people in Abuja I wish you well If you choose not to represent us well we will retire you very simple

Yesterday at Ikot-Ekpene, the voice of Anioma echoed clearly. As the bill for the creation of Anioma State was presented at the constitutional review public hearing, It came with a powerful reminder of why this cause matters so deeply. Even though I wasn’t surprised by the overwhelming turnout from my people, I was deeply moved. From traditional rulers to youth leaders, professionals to community elders, Anioma showed up, not just in numbers, but with unity, clarity, and conviction. They gave this mandate, and I’m honoured they continue to stand firmly by me as I pursue it. This is a call rooted in history, legitimacy, and justice. We’ve crossed every hurdle required of us. From documentation to consensus. What remains is the decision of this Senate and the will of the Nigerian people to do what is right. Special thanks to our revered royal fathers who journeyed long distances to lend their presence and voices. Your support gives weight to this mission. This is a moment of truth. A moment for justice. A moment for Anioma.

Today, I featured on Channels Television’s Sunday Politics where I spoke extensively on the ongoing Constitution Amendment Process, with particular emphasis on the imperative of creating Anioma State. The conversation offered an opportunity to once again articulate the need for fairness, equity, and balanced representation in our federation. The call for Anioma State is not born out of sentiment but of justice and the quest for true national integration. Nigeria’s strength lies in its diversity, and it is only through deliberate inclusion and equitable state creation that we can achieve a more stable and united country. Attending the Abuja Igbo Fest was a remarkable experience. I was struck by the sheer scale of participation and the strength of cultural identity on full display. I had not imagined that such a deeply rooted and unifying event existed here in the capital, bringing together the Igbo community in such an intentional and inspiring way. I was truly blown away by the energy, the unity, and the overwhelming show of support for the creation of Anioma State. As their banner boldly reads: “The call for Anioma State is not just a political demand, it is a cultural affirmation.” Indeed, IGBO BU OFU! Thank you for the honour of making me your Patron. I wish to congratulate the Special Advisers, The Heads of Government Agencies, and the Constituency Liason Officers who were sworn in today. I Implored them to be patriotic, dedicated, and committed to selfless services to our State and the Nation. You have been chosen based on your merit, experience, and competence. The people of Plateau State expect each and every one of you to deliver on your mandate. My administration is determined to bequeath a united and prosperous Plateau, where people irrespective of faith, ethnic and regional affiliations will carry out their peaceful businesses to the greater interest of the people, the state and the nation. Plateau State has a lot of potentials and opportunities in agriculture, tourism, mining, and other sectors that can attract local and foreign investors. It’s time for the Constituency Liaison Officers to step-down government activities to their respective Local Governments to keep people abreast of government policies and achievements. I also advised them to be good ambassadors of their constituencies and report any issues or challenges that may require government intervention.

As a government we will continue to collaborate with all our international partners and make sure we maximize all the services they can render to our people. I also pleaded with them to ensure the people return to their communities by providing things that make life easier to the community like water,education as we start the program of ‘return to the community’. The time has come for us to fully embrace our true identity, stand shoulder to shoulder with our brothers and sisters across the Niger, and reclaim the dignity that was once distorted by war and survival. This is not about politics or personal ambition. It is about justice, fairness, and correcting historical imbalances. My dream remains clear — the creation of Anioma State, with Asaba as its capital, where an Ndokwa son or daughter can one day become governor. We cannot shy away from who we are. Just as a Chinese man remains Chinese anywhere in the world, so must Anioma proudly rise its identity. I must commend the Igbo Unification Movement and Ndi na Asu Bia for their courage and consistency in championing this cause. Their work is helping our people reconnect with history and identity.

After being granted permission by the Hon’ble Calcutta High Court, today I visited Mothabari in the Malda District. A few days ago a violent mob of miscreants targeted Shops owned by Hindus at Mothabari. The shops & properties were selectively targeted and vandalised without any sort of provocation from the shop owners. Only reason was that those belonged to the Hindus. Today I met the affected people & interacted with them and tried to address their concerns. The distressed people have lost their faith on Administration. I have assured them of any and every support possible including legal help and arranging better medical facilities for the victims. I tried to boost their morale and distributed Bhagavad Gita amongst them along with some other items and gifts. I have told them that the whole Sanatani Community is with them and if the need arises I will come back again. Besides I will be doing everything in my capacity to ensure that they get justice. I accepted the letters of credence from the newly appointed ambassadors of Bulgaria, Estonia, India, and Germany and congratulated them on the start of their missions in Ukraine. I briefed them on our diplomatic efforts to bring peace closer and the importance of supporting Ukraine amid Russia’s intensifying attacks and preparations for winter. We discussed our shared priorities: developing trade and economic relations and specific areas of cooperation – everything that can make our nations stronger. I am grateful to all our partners who truly help Ukraine.

Jeanne Shaheen, Lindsey Graham, Senator Dick Durbin, Senator Chris Coons, Senator Mike Rounds, US Rep. Mike Turner – and thanked them for their support and focus on Ukraine. We had an in-depth discussion about the prospects for diplomacy and what is required for it to succeed. I informed them about the Patriot interceptor shortage and Russian attacks on our people. Right now, contributions to PURL and other air defense deliveries are the top priority for defense. We also discussed the Russia sanctions bill. It is critical to continue increasing pressure on Russia for this war, and this initiative can truly help to advance peace. I thanked Senators and Members of Congress for their words of respect for our warriors and operations, as well as their assurances that assistance will continue. I am grateful to the United States and every caring American heart for their support.
