why is she also a supporting actress in chilling horror film?

i love when black women find creative and efficient way to do things. go us.

I envy people who can braid their own hair.

Girls with dandruff are pissed Im "girls with dandruff"

I’m confused

she’s cutting the length off the old braids, leaving the base “parts” (those sections of her natural hair that are already parted/anchored close to the scalp) & attaches new extensions to the existing braided sections. she has new braids w/o having to redo all the initial parting

@creativebuzzcr But it’s not the end of the braids that needs redone when braids get old? It’s the roots? Lol

@creativebuzzcr you’re missing the full picture. she washes the roots and scalp while the bases are still in, then removes the old braid one section at a time. on that same pre-parted base she feeds in new braiding hair and re-braids it from the root. she’s just not re-parting her whole head 🤭

This smart asf why tf I ain’t think of this

I understand why someone would do this if they braid their own hair, but it’s a time sensitive method. The braids should be taken down and hair washed, deep conditioned, and allowed to breathe. There’s build up at the root of the braid that won’t get washed out in this method.

Y’all please don’t do this, like it looks like a good idea but all that knotless and box braids are alr bad for the hair to begin with, reusing the same parts can cause traction alopecia from tension on the same spots, and hair could be extremely dry causing splits and breakage.

@Miamore5623 This must not be for type 4 hair bc my roots are already frizzy just from sweat and refresh products. Ain’t no way they’re withstanding a full wash.

Is this witchcraft??? How TF she do that?!?

i love this girl she always inspiring me 😭😭😭

I am soooo so so guilty of this, but I can only do it for two styles in a row.

Yup I’ve gotten my hair done and refreshed it with a wash and new hair …. 3 months went by easy .

This woman just turned 3-year-old hair extensions into a whole new install like it’s nothing

My hair grow out of the parts too much for this 😭😭

two questions: 1. how long did this take 2. did anyone see her wash the hair

I’m a self taught braider that only braids on myself and I’ve been doing this for the last year off and on. It’s a lot of work, bc you HAVE to detangle after take down then rebraid, but it’s definitely easier than parting your own hair. 10s

What was this look bro lol

How did she do that where it still looks that neat???

it’s an option but i would be scared of it locking up 😭

This is okay in a pinch, where you have to get a style refreshed to go out or for the work week. But the easiest way to redo a full style is to take it out in sections i.e, back, middle, right side, left side.

My daughter does this. She also does her hair a certain way that she can slip the brain out then slip it back on when she wants to. Proud mama moment

Did this last summer and it not only helped me retain length but saved my laziness 😭

Not the best idea. It can start to matte at the base if you don't undo and comb through your shit.

Ummmm, why hasn't anyone thought of this before?? Are we all stupid? 😂😂😂

i love doing this!!!!

I don't get what she just did, but if you have fast new growth how does this even work if

I'm ngl I thought bout doing this. It took me 4-5 days to do x-small knotless boho braids on myself. I REFUSE to redo all these parts again 😭😭😭

baby who is after her??? 😭

Oh- felt this one across genders

but does the hair really get clean then?

I def reused my parts from knotless braids to start my locs😒😂😂

Please, the way my parts would be so dang fuzzy like a teddy bear! Aint NO way Im adding new hair to old parts! 😒
