She doesn't just resent you; tragically, she was taught to hate herself first. ​By obsessively favoring your brother and weaponizing her love to torture you, she is playing by the rules of a society that told her men are valuable and women must be controlled. She is giving you conditional love—withholding affection to force you to conform to the same trauma she endured.
