i just found out about this while randomly browsing old snsd videos on youtube. —— on 5 june 2011, during snsd's japan tour in saitama, sunny wasn't feeling well and couldn't continue performing. her solo stage had to be cancelled, and at one point fans were left wondering why... only eight members were on stage. sunny had been taken to the hospital and ended up missing more than half of the concert. but even though she still wasn't in her best condition, she eventually came back. she apologized to the fans and said she wanted to sing the last song together with everyone. when she returned to the stage, she was welcomed back by the members and the entire arena, and that's when sunny couldn't hold back her tears anymore. watching this clip 15 years later feels strangely emotional. we often remember sunny as snsd's "energy pill" – the member who could brighten the atmosphere, make everyone laugh, and somehow keep smiling. but moments like this remind me that behind that image was also someone who could get tired, sick, overwhelmed, and emotional. and still, she came back because she wanted to finish that moment together with her members and the fans. there are so many little stories from snsd's long history that newer fans like me are still discovering years later, and every time i find one like this, i understand a little more why the bond between snsd and sone became what it is. this happened in 2011, but watching sunny walk back onto that stage and immediately burst into tears still hits even now. our energy pill didn't have to be strong all the time. sometimes she needed everyone else's strength too.show more

#JanJingjing #JANHAE 🦊: [BBFF] was the first stage that we got to perform on stage together. it was our first concert. the two of us share the same dream - we want to be on stage and perform for everyone. those were two very meaningful days for me. having thought that i might no longer have the chance to get on stage anymore, i got to get back on stage this time. so it became a stage where i wanted to give it my all. i got to perform with jingjing too, who is someone who has lots of passion for this since she was little. even though she shifted toward modeling, she was still looking for opportunities where she could be on [stage].

I genuinely cannot understand how someone can watch this story and still stand there, looking at two women, and somehow decide that the wrong one is the victim. On one side, you have a girl (Yıldız) who has been mistreated her entire life. Since the moment she was born, she was treated like a sacrifice for a conflict she was never even part of and later we find out that this conflict never even existed. Her right to study was taken from her. She was pushed into a marriage at a very young age just imagine being six, seven, eight years old, living in fear of being tied to someone you don’t even know. She was treated like a servant in her own home, by the very people she thought were her family. And just when she gets close to the happiness she dreamed of, the man she was engaged to shows up with another wife. She gets mistreated by that wife, by his family, and even (unintentionally) by him, because he was trying to run away from his own feelings, and that only caused her more heartbreak. The whole world was literally against her. She fought through all of that, only to find out in the end that everything she suffered for was based on something that wasn’t even real. Her entire life was built on a lie. That she isn’t even part of that family that she has literally no one in this world. Now on the other side… You have a girl (Melek) who, yes, was taken from her biological mother but she was raised by loving parents. She had everything anyone could wish for: education, freedom, a happy childhood, a healthy environment. Candace deleted this video off every platform. It was the first podcast she did with PragerU. Now why would she want this particular video taken down right after Charlie died? It was up in Sept. I watched the entire video. Now it's gone. This is why Charlie didn't want to deal with the wrath of Candace. Just remember while watching the video the look on Charlie's face while she says it. Can you imagine her calling him up in the middle of the night crying, yelling and screaming at him like a raging lunatic? Also, remember she wouldn't go to the events and hang out with the students. A lot of the times she wouldn't show at all. She would demand to be taken back to the hotel immediately after any of the events. The hurt and the angst I believe came from Erika showing up on the scene. Notice how she tries to make it Charlie and Candace and everyone ties their names together. She was trying to make that connection as something between them. Then later in the video she jokes that everyone thought that her and Charlie were dating and people were disappointed to learn that they weren't a couple. I may have that clip, but I will have to look for it. This is right after she was asked to leave from TPUSA the first time over the "Hitler" comments. I don't think it was the Hitler comments. Can you imagine being Charlie and Erika and having to travel with Candace? I don't think it went well.

My daughter and I spent some time outside to test out our new sled. She asked me to record her now and again in a couple months to see her progress. She gave me permission to share a clip of her using the sled. This is what we call "Backyard PT." This is why we bought this sled. This is why we're doing everything we can for her. We've had many days of setbacks, but watching her push forward despite those setbacks and watching her progress has been very humbling. She wants to live. To think, just 8 months ago, we thought she was going to die. She weighed 85lbs. No body fat and barely any muscle mass. She couldn't see, couldn't chew food, her organs were damaged, her gut wasn't working, her hands were too shaky and weak to give herself insulin, she couldn't even hold a 2lb water bottle or a plate of food. She could barely get out of bed without help. She couldn't even safely walk around the house. She had multiple falls. One that split open her chin and knocked out a couple of teeth, and one that resulted in a broken tibia. She needed a wheelchair just to get around the house. Just 3 months ago, she was still using a wheelchair but gradually transitioned to a walker with a seat. Today, she still uses a walker for doctor's appointments or going to the store, and she sometimes uses it to get around the house if her BP is low. But, she now weighs 113lbs. When her BP is good, she can walk slowly around the house with no assistance. She just uses the walls, counters, and furniture for stability if she needs it. Even though her PCP wants her to continue going to PT, she has already used up the maximum amount that her insurance covers, so now she's doing PT at home. She puts 2.5lb-5lb weights around her ankles for when she walks around the house. She's been going outside and trying to workout with our weightlifting equipment. This week, we bought this sled as a way for her to strengthen her legs and calves while giving her something to hold for stability and reducing her risk of injury or falls. We have noticed that strengthening her legs and calves has been a big help with her hypotension issues. Day #1 has already shown us that this was a good purchase. The best thing about this sled is that we can all use it. It has resistance modes 1-3. The faster it's pushed, the more resistance it has. We can add weights to it. Up to 270lbs. It's easy to turn, especially for someone like her who needs to start off with something extremely light and easy to use. We had fun with this yesterday. I first took it up and down our street, about 1/2 mile, pushing as fast as I could on resistance #1. The faster I pushed and more force I used, the more resistance I felt. Then, I brought it to our backyard and went back and forth pushing hard on #3. Then, she came outside and we spent almost an hour taking turns going back and forth. She first used resistance #1, then tried switching it to #2. She could definitely feel the difference. I would say that she's now all set up for some good Backyard PT. It took 8 months to get here. I can't wait to see where she'll be at in another 8 months 💪
