#UP4014

@BaronVonBlake I think you win for the best shot of this side by side

@BaronVonBlake Thanks, man! My phone camera's stabilization feature is largely to thank, but I'm genuinely shocked at how perfectly this all played out. Never forgetting this moment anytime soon.

Me too (my pictures)

BIG BOY!!!

propably the best vid of the Big Boy I've seen.

Me, my siblings, and a friend of my sisters next to big boy

THIS IS THE RAILFAN EVENT OF THE CENTURY! I am so excited to see them together tomorrow 😭

Saw 4014 come through Greely. Just wow

Me too :)

HOLY FUCK

My grandad drove steam engines for British Rail through WWII. Instilled a love of rail into me. But nothing he drove compares to the insanity of 16 drive wheels.

So great! Side by side! Both whistles. Glorious.

I like trains, too

Best damn video on X

Majestic steam engineering!

YES!! Wow, excellent filming!!!🥰🖖

Beautiful

Same here I love trains

I was on This trip dawggggg, 1- fuck 2- GODDDAMNNNNNNN 3- bro I think u win best video

Awesome video. Love that whistle.

AMAZING ❣️

Same

アメリカの蒸気機関車すごいな！！圧倒的だ

Calling that thing a train is like calling starship, a firecracker.

Same here

I swear i think they have added a valve to Big Boy so it only runs on one engine set. Because there have been quite a few occasions where its been way quieter and not had those signature 8 chuffs.

I might have OD'd...........

@maggsfolfalt What a view!!!

What a cool steam locomotive!

Awesome!

Great video

there is nothing in the world that compares to hearing that whistle blow as Big Boy passes thru. especially if you are trackside.

never in my lifetime, would I ever even think we could see something like this in our generation, and yet here we are

Forget high speed rail, bring back more Big Boy steam engines.
