@SENBreakfast Maybe top 6 clubs shouldn’t be able to get free agents from bottom 6 clubs.

Kane with the "it's good for players" Yeah but long suffering clubs that have been down the ladder for decades are continuing to struggle. How can anyone successfully build anything when their best players walk all the time to the teams that continue to compete year after year?

@SENBreakfast I totally agree Kingy. It is destroying the comp. We are building an English Premier League where players will only go to clubs who are in the window, and therefore leaving weaker clubs without a chance of ever winning a flag.

@SENBreakfast Should come with some firm of caveat like you can’t go to a top 6 team otherwise the strong just keep getting stronger

@SENBreakfast The AFL should have put the attention into free agency instead or F&S bidding which we already saw a higher price paid last year. Free Agency helps the strong stay at the top.

@SENBreakfast Top 4 clubs should loose 1st or 2nd pick for players obtained through free agency. This also reduces no picks in 1st or 2nd round

@SENBreakfast The AFL is broken player exchange rules need to be fixed asap. Clubs should be able to trade contracted players to the highest bidder

@SENBreakfast Isn't it afl managers driving it, how many free agents tour facilities of a bottom 8 club? Player managers are funnelling their best players to geelong, hawthorn, Collingwood, and any other Vic club in the top 6. I bet no free agent is having their manager say lets look at dons

@SENBreakfast Spot on Kingy. Geoff Walsh had the best idea. Top 6 sides can only get from top6 sides, probably wouldn’t happen cos they don’t want a rival getting stronger. Middle six sides can only get from middle 6 and top6 and bottom 6 can get from anyone so it stops the top 6 doing that
