I just left the hellscape formerly know as Pacific Palisades where I’ve lived for 26 years. I’m mad at what I saw. Our politicians have failed us. Unprepared, unimaginative, understaffed, now overwhelmed. Heads must roll for this disaster. I personally saw 100+ homes fully engulfed. Rick J. Caruso just... show more

More from yesterday - Sunset and Marquez in Pacific Palisades

Rail against govt spending, cry about socialism Disaster hits you in the fucking face NOW you want the govt to save you, and understand why the fuck we all have been so god damn vocal about Global Climate Change.

you just voted for a climate change denier ..

Politicians are the problem. It’s time for real change beyond red and blue curtains on a sinking ship.

Want to cut social services? How about climate change denier? Yeah this is the result.

Pay your fair share of taxes, asshat. You are a grifter.

Who runs all of these cities sir? Name the politicians.

State. County. City. All have blood on their hands for this.

The average home price in Pacific Palisades is $3.5 million. The average income is $360k. The 0.74% property tax rate is half the average 1.64% for the rest of LA. If you want more than 2 fire stations, you need to pay for them.

Maybe pay more taxes and demand better infrastructure. Why you bellyaching at ordinary people on Twitter?

Horrific! My heart breaks for you and your neighbors. However, may I say Palisades voted for it — you rejected President Trump who promised to you repeatedly that he would fix the man-made water shortage and drought problems in California which was a stupid result by idiot environmentalists to protect a type of fish. “Election has consequences.” The saying is not trivial or an ideological joy ride. Wrong votes will literally damage people’s lives. I hope Palisades residents will never for destructive Democrats again!
