I just love her tone 😍 Brandy ‘Almost Doesn’t Count’ (1998)

Her vocal tone is sorely under appreciated!

"Just love her tone 😍" Brandy's 1999 R&B classic "Almost Doesn't Count" is iconic not just for her smooth vocals, but for its clever songwriting! 🎶✨ It was originally written as a country song! The lyrics were inspired by the writer's own unrequited college love. Brandy has named it one of her favorite songs to perform live.

Incredible artist

Agreed! I just wish she would remember we fell in love with her tone, more than her runs. The runs were like icing, not the whole meal. Now, she runs the tone away. Give us simple melodies with that magical tone and she’d sell records again. Work with the people who made you.

THIS MASTERPIECE IS MY "BABYYYYY" I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE HELL OUT THIS SONG. 👑 @4everBrandy SANG THIS SONG DOWN TO THE GROUND 1000%. I WILL LOVE THIS MASTERPIECE 4EVER & ALWAYS 4EVERMORE!!!👑💜💝💜💝💐💐💐💖❤️💖❤️💖

Thank you for posting the better video! 🙌🏾 Yes, this is such a good car ride song.

I am surprised it didn’t hit top 10! I remember this being everywhere when I was a teen lol

Probably on rhythmic stations. Lol I believe this wasn't physically released as well.
