I just realized Opus 5.5 can use Blender to make claymations with just a single prompt in claude dot ai now

need to make sure you've been updated to this (rolling out to everyone soon if you haven't!)

Absolutely incredible

Amazing

does Blender only appear after the Cowork+chat merge, or does a still-split chat session get the connector too? that's whether I wait for the rollout or try it tonight

Woah

claude dot ai?

how long did this take in claude dot ai ?

the bottleneck shifts from prompt craft to validating the render loop.

Opus 5.5 might be one of those releases that looks incremental today and obvious in hindsight six months from now.

🤣

Single prompt to Blender claymation is awesome, I am sure a lot of iterations though. The efficiency isn’t just speed, it’s how much it can finish without a pile of handoffs. Been impressed with Opus 5.5 on the boring work too, not just demos. However not daily driver material yet. I would say planning and review work is best.

Next step is to freeze the last frame and turn it into a webgl website with nav and everything as a replacement for boring - make the web 90s again

they have blender in the cloud!?

做个小短片已经不用先学一套软件了 丢个想法进去 等它跑完我去泡杯茶

wait single prompt claymation is kinda absurd can u edit the scenes

single-prompt claymation is fun but i want to know when the sixth revision breaks it. that's where the real test starts.

This is a great example of capability turning into a usable creative loop, not just a flashy demo. The interesting question is whether Opus can keep the scene coherent across revisions while Blender handles the deterministic parts.

single prompt claymation in blender lol wait

So Cool!

Which mcp did it you use

Fun demo — but the real test is temporal consistency: keeping one clay character identical across cuts and angles. If Opus 5.5 pulls that off in Blender from a single prompt, it's solved something purpose-built animation models still fumble. Anyone tried multi-shot continuity?
