i just realized. the beginning sequence is caine + this other ai bubble mentioned. caine is put away + trapped because the other ai was better. caine somehow broke out, merged with /ate(?) the blue ai and created the circus on his own. holy shit. #tadc

something i’m thinking about/have noticed is that DESPITE jax pressing the button to stay in the circus he still has an insane crash out over the fact that the “escape the circus” was an adventure and caine lied to and was messing with them.

It’s officially #ChristopherNolanWeek but Michael Caine officially isn’t part of this week’s new Nolan release & that makes me sad. Caine & Nolan combined for 8 films together, the latest, and presumably the last, being Tenet back in 2020. Michael Caine is simply one of the most important actors of my life. The fact he has an additional chapter near the end of his career with Nolan is so legendary. I cherish this duo.
