So a black woman (that's married to a white man) wrote a movie about a black mother that tells her black daughters to kill their black father. So basically it's a black boogieMAN story. This movie is like PRECIOUS and COLOR PURPLE. Just another disgusting black horror film.

I saw this film and then I heard people saw its anti black men and black father. Sadly I have to agree. Especially after seeing the creator’s partner isn’t black. It’s kind of a hit piece. I will say, the 2 leads are the highlight of the film. Great soundtrack too.

I saw it today and the movie is weird but very enjoyable at the same time. 🤣 As with any action movie, a lot of silly & implausible chit, but it was very stylish and filmed quite well. The issues of forgiveness & judgement resonated throughout. 🤔
