Because of these men, we have our today. Our freedoms, our hopes, our ability to wake up each morning in a world shaped by courage and sacrifice all of it exists because a generation of WWIl veterans stood up when the world needed them most. They faced darkness with unwavering bravery, fought for people they would never meet, and carried the weight of protecting a future they might never see. Today, we honor every one of them those who returned home and those who never did. Their strength, resilience, and sacrifice changed the course of history and gave us the chance to live in a world where freedom could flourish. May we never forget what they endured, what they defended, and what they gave us. Because of these men, we have our today and we owe them more than words can ever express. 🇺🇸🫡

Today, in my capacity as the President of NANS, I led all the structures of NANS, including sister unions, NAUS, NAPS, NANCES and NFSAN to the Community High school, Ahoro-Esiele, and Yawato community in Orire Local Government area of Oyo state, where we visited the scenes where our students and teachers were abducted. Going forward, we met with the King, some of the families of the victims, and parents in the communities of Ahoro-Esiele and Yawato communities. Furthermore, we assured them of our solidarity and support for them in this time of trouble and grief. Subsequently, we assured them that we are constantly calling on the government to ensure the immediate rescue and safe return of the abducted students and teachers. Conclusively, I assured all Nigerian Students that as far as I remain their President, I will continue to protect their interest. Participated in the Dhamma Chakra Pravartan Rally at the historic Buddha Caves, a sacred symbol of our cultural and spiritual heritage, in Aurangabad today. Last year, we united to stop a deliberate attempt to demolish the Buddha Vihar. That was more than a fight for land! It was a fight for our dignity! Vanchit Bahujan Aaghadi will continue to fight to conserve, protect, and develop these ancient Buddhist heritage sites. This is not just about monuments. It’s about identity, history, and dignity. And we will not let them be erased!

It was an honour to stand at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, and to witness the Last Post at the Australian War Memorial in Canberra. From Europe, we remember with gratitude the sacrifice and courage of the many Australians who stood beside us in the long and fragile pursuit of peace and freedom. “They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old: Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning. We will remember them.”

I was honoured to attend the official dedication of the "On Freedom’s Wings" Lancaster Bomber sculpture—a magnificent 102-tonne tribute to the 55,573 brave souls of Bomber Command who made the ultimate sacrifice. This is the Spirit of Lincolnshire personified. We must never forget our history or the debt we owe to those who defended our liberty. Huge credit to the Trustees and volunteers who fought to make this landmark a reality. We stand for heritage. We stand for remembrance. And we stand for our Great British values. God bless our heroes. Lest we forget.
