Tightly controlled narratives, carefully selected guests from government-funded NGOs and think tanks telling you what to think...almost always echoing official govt policy. An audience stacked with activists ready to nod along in agreement. And guess who’s footing the bill? You, the taxpayer. A Potemkin talkshow. What’s not to love? I'm sure it will be dearly missed

That's the truth we want to hear; it's shite – nothing upfront about it. I called it leftfront.

At least they should employ some vaguely Question Time format where at least one member of the panel articulates the concerns of the public, (in other words, 'far right'!), otherwise it's just another eerie RTE echo chamber!

Ahhh Sarah a beacon of sanity on this crazy island.

there was more internal discussion allowed in (Marxist) Official Sinn Fein the Workers Party 1970s meetings/struggle sessions than there is on a typical RTE chat show so yes even boomers are not bothering to view anymore

I just stopped watching Rte full stop coz it's shite.

Shouldn't be called current affairs anyway, should be called leftist view

RTE are pathetic

The state is passive aggressive towards the Irish people. They're not only addicted to aggressively virtue signalling at us but addicted to gaslighting and making the Irish feel as insignificant and voiceless as much as is possible and its especially targeted at key demographics

@john_mcguirk True, its not down to @KatieGHannon. However, she knows what's going on in RTE and is paid to further it. She hides truths of RTE's biased agenda. An agenda that visibly had her nervous while presenting the show and ultimately caused her to lose her job. She should expose it.
