Hagen Smith said today that last night’s impressive results were the result of raising his arm slot back to where it had been previously. At 3:00 pm I went to the vehicle on the north side of the highway. Prior to filming, I asked him why he had been parked there for 3 hours. The first words out of his mouth were that he was an RCMP officer. He also told me he had been there for 2 days. He then started filming me, so I returned the favour and started filming him. He changed his story to being an investigator, when I challenged him about being an RCMP officer. 2/

I had the privilege of working with Peabo Bryson on the @somma.cruise last year. One evening, I noticed him sitting alone on the deck, so I joined him. We ended up talking for hours. He shared incredible stories, spoke passionately about his music, and had such a deep love for his craft. I am so grateful to have had that special moment with him. To his beautiful wife, son, and entire family, please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. Tonight, I rescued this child from the streets, where he has been living with his mother, who is also vulnerable. Their situation worsened after the child’s father was arrested, leaving the boy in the care of his mother. Due to severe financial challenges, they eventually found themselves on the streets. Today, I took the child to a safe and secure home where he will spend the night. He is currently nursing a head injury, and his well-being is our immediate priority. I had met this child yesterday, bought him breakfast, and promised to buy him shoes. But upon meeting him again, it became clear that what he truly needed was far more than shoes he needed protection, care, and urgent support. I appeal to all officers and authorities tasked with removing street families from the CBD: please do not use violence. Follow humane procedures that do not harm vulnerable women and innocent children like this one. Street children are not criminals. They are victims of circumstance. Let us choose compassion, dignity, and solutions that protect life.

Last night in Kawangware, I met this man whom I initially thought was a security guard. After speaking with him, I later came to learn that he is a Nigerian national currently living on the streets. Whenever I meet someone living on the streets, I always take time to engage with them, understand their story, and learn how they ended up there. My goal is always to see how best I can help them rebuild their lives. During our conversation, he shared that he came to Kenya after receiving a promise of sponsorship from his cousin to continue his education here. However, after only two weeks in the country, his cousin who had promised to support him left for the United States without enrolling him in school, leaving him stranded in Kenya. As we continued talking, he explained how he struggled to survive and eventually ended up living on the streets. He has now been on the streets for about two years. In one of the videos I recorded, a lady reached out to me and said she recognized him. According to her, they once lived in the same apartment building. She narrated how the man had been in a relationship with a lady who allegedly took everything he owned. This incident deeply affected him, pushing him into depression and eventually to the streets. The man also shared that at one point he worked in Dubai, where he used to send money back home to support his parents in Nigeria. However, when he later returned home, he claims he discovered that he had been deceived by the very people he trusted. He gave me his parents’ contact, although we were not able to fully hear their side of the story. Currently, his travel documents have expired, and he expressed that his biggest wish is to renew them so that he can return home to Nigeria and start life again. I offered to use my platform to help fundraise for the renewal of his documents, as he personally requested. He also asked if I could help him secure any form of work so that he could at least sustain himself as he waits to regularize his documents. However, after spending time with him and assessing his situation, it became clear to me that he urgently needs mental health support, as he appears to be struggling with depression. I therefore decided that the following morning I would take him to a private rehabilitation center where professionals could assess him and offer the help he needs. After we agreed on this plan, I took him to a hotel where he could spend the night safely. I paid for his room and food, intending to pick him up the following morning and take him for rehabilitation. Unfortunately, later in the morning I received a call from the hotel attendant informing me that although the man had slept well, he left the guest house very early in a hurry. Later reports indicated that he had been seen back on the streets. Since then, efforts to locate and rescue him have not been successful. I am informed that he rarely accepts help from people, which makes the situation even more challenging. If anyone happens to see or locate him, please kindly contact me through +254707946783 so that we can assist him, take him for rehabilitation, and help facilitate his return to his home country. I am also appealing to his fellow Nigerians living in Kenya, those back in Nigeria, and well-wishers both in Kenya and abroad come through for him and support the effort to give this man a second chance in life. Rocky had some of the worst test results I ever saw yesterday when I took him to the vets. To be honest I don't know how he was even still able to stand up. Not only does he have glaucoma in his eyes, he also has blood parasites, skin issues, and many of his organs are under pressure. The easy thing to do would be to give up like whoever abandoned Rocky did. Instead of ending his life scared and alone on that beach, he now has a chance and we had one of the most enjoyable Sundays ever. Of course he's not aggressive or wanting to bite. That was just his defense mechanisms yesterday. I was having a lot of trouble getting him moved around today because he was so terrified on the lead. But as soon as I figured out that he enjoyed being carried and as close as possible to human touch, everything changed. Myself and Rocky sat and he had smoked salmon, poached chicken, and lovely sliced ham. He absolutely devoured every single bite. I put a nice bandana on him and gave him lots of attention and just tried in general to make his Sunday as magical as possible. The coming days won't be easy. There's a high likelihood that he'll have some severe battles ahead and he may lose his eyes. But as I went to sleep last night, I just wished that I could get one day with Rocky and I was lucky enough to have that. Now myself and Rocky are greedy for a few more days and maybe even longer. Hoping for a miracle.
