In contrast, Iran is launching attacks on allied nations, and twelve countries have already been subjected to indiscriminate strikes. Why is Iran developing intercontinental ballistic missiles and striving to acquire nuclear warheads? Is it to uphold its declared slogan, “Death to America”? I repeat we are not at war with them. Our campaign is aimed at dismantling their military capabilities, capabilities they openly claim are directed against the United States, which they consider their primary enemy.
