The fact that I had just completed South of Midnight when I first saw Sinners, WAS MAGICAL! Like everything had aligned just right. Saw Sinners 3 times now and it’s definitely my movie of the year.

damn now i have to play South of Midnight

It feels like a legit comic booky grindhouse style period horror film in the same vein as From Dusk til Dawn the music for me is where it really shines though

I loved it! I turned to a buddy of mine after the credits rolled and said @MarvelStudios should get Ryan Coogler to direct Blade.

You hear the haints mentioned, thought of south of midnight immediately.

I thought about “Remember When” and how I missed you and Jay. It was one of my first thoughts after the movie.

My wife and I just got back as well. Incredible film and Michael B Jordan is just awesome in everything. And the music… wow. So happy to see it doing so well in every way.
