My name is john, and for over 14 years, livestreaming on Twitch has been my life, my passion, and my sole source of income. Recently, I was banned from the platform, and I am currently going through the appeals process to try and restore my channel. This unexpected situation has been incredibly difficult, especially as my wife is home caring for our 2-week-old baby and is not able to work right now. With streaming being our only income, this ban has left us in a very tough spot. The funds raised here will go directly toward our living expenses and baby supplies while I work through the appeals process and search for another way to support my family. This is insane!🔥 This is a 720p (2D) video I shot of my kids 15 years ago! I used AI to upscale it, depth-map it, & used the depth map to convert it to 3D SBS, & then converted that to Spatial Video for Apple Vision Pro (MV-HEVC). My son is currently a senior in high school, and my daughter is a sophomore in college. This video has complete spatial depth when viewed in the Apple Vision Pro. Obviously, you can't appreciate that via this post. But it's like I'm there & I can see into this room. Talk about giving you the feels.🥹 This can be done with ANY video. 🤯 I'm working on refining the workflow, as it's a bit cumbersome. I plan to share it, but holy cow! I had to post this.

On this day, 52 years ago, John Cassavetes' "The Ki!!ing of a Chinese Bookie" (1974) was released in the USA. John Cassavetes explaining why he made the movie: "'A Woman Under the Influence' (1974) was the first picture I’ve had anything to do with that wasn’t made out of plain, simple feeling, but rather out of a real desire to do something in my profession. It was extremely frightening for me not to come to work out of enthusiasm and instead put myself up as something of a craftsman. Earlier films such as 'Shadows' (1958) and 'Husbands' (1970) grew out of personal experiences reaching all the way back to my childhood days. They were expressions of my innermost feelings, and now that I’ve dealt with all that, I feel obligated to view life in other terms. I want to explore other areas of human and artistic experience. I made 'The Ki!!ing of a Chinese Bookie' (1976) as an intellectual experiment– not because I am in love with it. I enjoy a more intellectual and less emotionally demanding view than in my previous work. If I can make, out of certain intellectual ideas, films that are complex in their nature, then I’m entering into new ground. And that is certainly something I look forward to. After playing Hytale a lot, having fun, and doing everything I wanted to do, it's time to get to work! This is the first official iteration of my texture for Hytale! Today is exciting! We are opening up the TestFlight waitlist for our new App “AuraTap”, a speed networking platform for Apple Vision Pro. Plus we made a little presentation. (link in the comments) For me this also marks the next chapter as a spatial product designer. I have been designing & imagining Apps for visionOS for more than one year now and have found my true passion with it. With AuraTap, I challenged myself to design an app experience that centers on the human connection wrapped in a premium user interface that adheres to Apple’s design principles and guidelines. We all worked hard to also launch a little website presentation for you to learn more about our App.

Proudest accomplishment of 2023, I’ll go first. In the world of ultra running- this is not all that special. But in my world it was the full circle of the journey from boy to man. It’s the kind of thing that even as you commit to doing it, even as I laced up my shoes I didn’t know if I was ready. It just seemed so massive and daunting. When I first took up running I was a skinny kid with stick legs that couldn’t run for more than half a mile before I had to stop and walk. But I was so damn inspired to change my life. You can do pretty much anything if you’re too stubborn to stop. 2023 was the biggest year of my life so far in a lot of ways. But these 33 hours will be some of the best of my life til the day I die. No test. No testimony baby. Bring on 2024 🎉🎉🎉

Wow, I’m blessed beyond belief to have witnessed COACH PRIME giving me a shoutout telling me he’s proud of me and all the work I do especially with the adversity I deal with from my physical disability. Thank you Coach Prime it means the world. 🙏🏼 Growing up with a disability I knew I could never play professional football but my passion for the game never left instead it turned into a passion of speaking and analyzing the game. I’ve had more struggles than I could’ve imagined in my short life but I’ve always been determined to make my dream a reality and it’s coming true in front of me and Coach Prime helped me realize that even more. Now, I’m nowhere near close to my end goal but I want this to be a lesson towards anyone even if you have a struggle in your life or not, anything you want to do is possible with hard work and determination. You have the power to do whatever you want in this life. Thank you to everyone who supports my work and coverage. Thank you for supporting me turning my dream into a reality- Your favorite sports journalist in a ♿️

My Command & Conquer: Tiberian Dawn port for Meta Quest 3 / 3S is no longer just a standard flat-screen version. I’ve converted it into a spatial app and detached the radar and build menus from the main game window. All windows can be freely arranged and resized to your liking. A language toggle (German/English) is included as well. Local LAN multiplayer and online play are also functional (I’ve set up a server for this purpose). Just a bit more polishing, and I might be able to release an initial version by the weekend for anyone interested :) I plan to add more features to turn this into a great VR / spatial experience :) The versions for iPad, MacOS and Apple Vision Pro are also still work in progress.
