I am a birth mom and was just able to meet my son two years ago. I so can relate with this. What a beautiful story I feel for the birth mom and her son. Our story is similar and the love I have for him is outstanding.and all I was concerned with is that he had a happy life too.

Honestly, I think forcing adoption on to young women is pretty evil. Both of those human beings would have been better off being in each other's lives this whole time.

My husband didn’t find out he was adopted until he was 23… even then it was by accident. He had a wonderful childhood and loving parents. He was caught off guard and it took years to absorb. I encouraged him to look for his bio mom if he wanted , I assured him I was sure she never forgot him and that it wasn’t going against his parents. He tried looking but only knew it was a Mormon adoption. The attorney that handled the adoption told him to stop looking that it was wrong🤬 He would try then stop. Well he finally found her when he was 40. It’s been 18yrs and they have a close relationship. He met 5 half brothers and 1 sister. He found his bio dad but that didn’t go well and was hurtful.

It’s striking how many call this reunion story beautiful and say it moved them to tears, while treating abortion as the preferred solution to the exact situation that produced it.

What a beautiful story in a world full of bad ones. I’m so used to bad things I was waiting for the other shoe to drop but it was just a sweet and kind story.
