I am the only one telling you the truth about openclaw

it's been 3 hrs and no one tagged those accounts, i'm disappointed

Thank you for sharing your journey, really insightful. I’ve noticed this pattern in myself too. On mornings where I get outside first and don’t touch my phone, the day goes well. On mornings where I don’t, I get pulled into “one quick fix” that turns into hours. When I actually track my time, I’ve spent more time configuring and chasing problems than I would have if I’d just used something off-the-shelf like Notion. I agree there’s a lot of promise here and people are doing cool stuff. I’m just trying to figure out the right balance between configuring and actually being productive.

I can relate to the feeling of doing tons of stuff and still not feeling like I'm making enough progress and letting people down in certain areas because I'm so focused on sending one more prompt for something that matters a lot less. It's hectic and it's crazy. I kind of like it, but it is a bit much!

“But first I must recreate the universe” Brother I feel this… deeply

my new motto

I see the problem You forgot the power cable

this video might explain everything, but now i’m even more curious 😅

curious about what

just curious why you kept using it even though there were concerns around it, since you used it for quite a while

cuz it's currently the only thing giving me hope of putting my digital life in control and on autopilot. so i have to keep going until it works

Haha, "trillion ways to do nothing" hits hard. Same issues here. I switched to working on one task until it's finished currently 7 days into building a local voice-to-OpenClaw pipeline that doesn't feel like talking to a bus stop automaton.

Really love the Rant. Specifically "I invented a trillion ways to do nothing." - a great quote. Somehow reminds me of Frankl.

looks like you had time for a haircut though man. good stuff

it was long overdue, and I scheduled it myself cuz I can solve captcha

Yeah 3d printer is not gonna help

it’s cooking in another room so it’s fine

Tim's got the answer :)

Rite of passage

dude is the this the studio?? how much ram?? 😳🦾🦞

yes, 32

hmmm you can’t just give that up!!!plug that big boy back to where it belongs!! 🦞😆

this is crazy. I told You this months ago.

@tejask You told me that you quit setting up a simple app after 5 minutes I actually mentioned that in the video that we're not the same

yeah i heard you and i agree i saw this from miles away

welcome back chap. i'm not smug tho, i'm one of those ppl that never went to uni and missed all the experiences that came w/ it. these things are a journey. i wish i had the patience to go through what you have 😅

nice haircut.

Everything starts with processes, and even though the potential is infinite, we have to begin with small things and never forget the fundamentals: get things done.

memory reliability is the biggest reason my clawd is relegated to package tracker atm someone should work on solving that

dude speaks out my soul 😂

Bro your “I killed my OpenClaw” video just punched me in the childhood 😂 Back in my 20s I was that Windows psycho: building rigs, chasing drivers at 3 a.m., coding my own everything… and somehow never actually doing anything. Then I bought my first MacBook and life went full zen: open laptop → work. Mind blown. Fast-forward to 2026: I got my Omer (OpenClaw) running. Tweaked him hard for 30 days, then I put the brakes on — “No more features, big guy. Now you work” And you know what? He’s delivering. I’m finally shipping real shit instead of debugging my debugger. You burned it all down… I put a leash on the lobster. Different paths, same war. Respect for saying the quiet part out loud 🔥 #OpenClawConfessions

😂😂😂

Relatable! I crashed my OpenClaw and had my other one rebuilt it yesterday in a similar moment. Stick with Tinkerer Club!!! Its amazing work

nice one you look more fit

haircut 💀

reminder: life is only as complicated as YOU make it.

🤣 sounds like a real burnout, without a clear plan st the beginning

Shit man this hit home hard. I think there is a huge group of us that have been deeply involved with AI tooling and trying everything, building our own ways to use it all. Then it’s like a burn out hits in a way from too many things failing at once and it’s hard to pick up the pieces and figure out how to get started again without leaving anything behind.

Relatable, I hope people are kind in the comments. We are all human and these tools can fuck with your mind because they literally talk to you.

The problem with us techies is that we spend days automating a 1-minute effortless repeated task. I used to tell myself it would save my attention, but the fact I always ignored is that the task never needed much attention in the first place. My bias toward trying new tech and engineering and the adrenaline rush from completing or tinkering it drive me down the rabbit hole.

Ah, so that's why you haven't responded to my 2-week-old email? 😂

yes

“I’ve invented a trillion ways to do nothing, at the end of the day” resonates. This is a great reminder that there’s seemingly bottomless potential in these tools (not just OpenClaw but LLMs in general), which creates the illusion of infinite possibilities. The other side of the coin is that it pulls you in a trillion directions and kills your focus because the friction to doing just “one more thing” has been erased. Be vigilant and protect your focus.

I've also felt this way. I'm using Claude way more than my openclaw agent because I'm already in the terminal anyway and I can't use the oauth with openclaw Also I find the stuff I set up on openclaw randomly breaking etc

ADHD, the movie.

Ad4k

Jokes aside, agentic coding is the best thing that happened for people with ADHD. We can now constantly switch between tasks while actually being productive.
