@LowerZPain If you’re impressed by this, go watch 98-01 Keane. Will blow your mind how good he was

@LowerZPain Keane was Kante and De Jong in one. People underestimate his ability to come out with the ball and even more his incredible pass accuracy.

@LowerZPain I'm not a United fan but it always amazes me when people talk about their 'Best Ever' Premiership XIs and Keane isn't part of the CM and in fact the first name on the team sheet. An absolute 'Titan' of the game.

@LowerZPain This was Keane years after his peak. His peak was mid to late 90’s.

@LowerZPain Even his tackles were line breaking forward passes 😭

@LowerZPain More line breaking passes in this clip than Rice has made his whole career. Keane was a metronome. His pass completion percentage was regularly in the late 80s and early 90s. Not safe sideways passes either as you can see here.

@LowerZPain And even after Keane, they play alongside Carrick as well who’s just as good at doing the line breaking passes Roy is doing in this comp (which explains why SAF choose him as Keane’s replacement).

@LowerZPain One of the biggest misconceptions of all time is that Keane was just some clogger who was a good leader. He was a top player.
