It WAS hard in the past, where there wasn't washing machines, fridges to keep food for days, TVs to keep the children occupied or wathever. Hell, most houses didn't had running water up until maybe 1950. Cooking took hours to make. There wasn't a jar full of bolognese ready to cook. You had to make it all yourself. You had to go shopping for fresh food almost every day. It takes a tremendous amount of time to do it yourself. But nowadays? Give me a break. Press a button here, press a button there, open a bottle of wine and you're done. People don't know how lucky we are to be born in this period of time.

Very true! I even homeschooled our children and never worked as hard as my husband did. I’ve always been grateful to be able to stay home with our children. I made sure he came home to a clean home, peace, dinner, and I always made sure I was put together.
