I know a biological dead zone when I see one

Please avoid entering these kind of waters! Biology and organisms creep even to the depths of Lava pits! If there is zero biological activity then there is a probability a good reason, like for example some poisonous gases being emitted from bottom or some chemical formations!

the distressing feeling that a creature is going to come and attack him

me watching :

"Detecting multiple leviathan class lifeforms in the region. Are you certain whatever you're doing is worth it?"

The void

Why would you go down there lol

Holding my phone as far away from my face as possible with this one

Subnautica reference!

I did this one time when I was young. Went with my family to an island on a boat, I went swimming under the water and walked on the bottom to the edge exactly like this. Shit was so scary I felt like something was going to come up and grab me. Dude is brave for even jumping into that, he's lucky he didn't go so far down he couldn't see the light anymore 👀 I always tell people that story. Now I have a video to use as an example lol @interesting_aIl

If humans swim in the biological dead zone, they usually don't die immediately, because the main problem is low oxygen levels in the water, not toxins on the surface. But there are still risks: ⚠️ In severe cases, dangerous gases can be released from the bottom of the water. Not only is there a lack of oxygen, but it can also become a reservoir for dangerous pollutants, including heavy metals. So, even if humans are physically able to swim, it's not recommended because the water quality is usually unsafe.

Dead zones form where nutrient runoff triggers algal blooms, and bacterial decomposition depletes oxygen. The Gulf of Mexico dead zone expands every summer, driven by Mississippi River agriculture.

Hell nahh I'm going there

I feel suffocated the moment he went down 😭

Where he going

thalassophobia strikes hard with this one!

You don’t just enter the void willingly. That’s literally the first thing they teach you in just try to stay alive school. Jesus man.

BiologicalDeadZone is a hypoxic (low-oxygen) area in oceans/LargeLakes, typically caused by nutrient pollution (nitrogen/phosphorus) from agriculture & sewage, which triggers massive algal blooms. When algae die & decompose, oxygen is consumed, causing marine life to die or flee.

Murky water, no signs of life, not even algae or aything, absolute darknes, yet people still swim in it for likes on a video, FAFO.

I'm guessing he caused his mother to have many anxiety attacks growing up

Deep inside the water and everywhere becoming very dark??? Count me out every time the conversation comes up

The abyss

god fuck i wana play subnautica2...

Ohh boy that is terrifying
