I know KCD's sequel is even prettier and I'll get to it in time, but these forests are so gorgeous for 2018.

It is so nice to have a european forest in a game that actually feels real. Something you know from going outside. Not having different biomes on a map and instead concentrating on a slightly scaled down real-world location really helped to make it look and feel realistic

There's a ton of tiny easter eggs hidden in the depths of the forests too. They put a lot of care into 'em.

Genuinely the most natural feeling forest landscapes I’ve ever seen in a video game. I would get so lost in them all the time then some ranger would run up and yell at me

Ikr? I grew up near forests and still live in a mountaintown and KCD is about the only game I played that made woods feel like woods.
