I know that Dust devils occur on the microscale in meteorology, however, every single "biggest of the big" Dust devils that I have witnessed were spinning cycloncially. Check out this dust devil that hit off Mt. Eden road today in Shelbyville, KY. Notice the play area up top! The family is very grateful the kids weren’t using the play area when it hit. This is one of the stronger dust devils I have seen in a bit!
