I know that teacher went home and cried tears of joy!! smile

@eric_hz143 Their school band went to a competition for the first time and came away with a Superior rating. It’s a huge deal for band kids. Any kids.

@eric_hz143 Our show choir didn't just take state, we beat out the whole West Coast in a competition held at Disneyland. No one gave a crap: no acknowledgment from the school, no announcement over the intercom, nothing.

@eric_hz143

@eric_hz143 For context. Pretty cool story.

@eric_hz143

@eric_hz143 Never thought I’d lose it for some band nerds but here we are 🥹

@eric_hz143 @Annie46675 Band kids broke new ground in competition. Huge win!

@eric_hz143 This is full circle for me. I just substitute taught for band yesterday and was reading all of the superior rating plaques and wonder how big of a deal it was lol. Now I see.

@eric_hz143 Maybe next time turn the music up so we can’t here a word he says…

@eric_hz143

@eric_hz143 What's going on? I don't understand. Is this an American thing?

@eric_hz143

@eric_hz143 Please make music louder next time, we can still hear the man talking

@eric_hz143 Sorry what did he pull out of the envelope?

@eric_hz143 Our HS band was awesome. We called it the Big Green Machine . Mr Bean was one of a kind.

@eric_hz143 I remember back in 2012 traveling with my high school soccer team . We were decent and had made it pretty far for our schools standards . The day we got eliminated we all cried but our coach was there for us. He wasn't just a coach and it wasn't just a team. It was family !

@eric_hz143 I know...what are they cheering about...glad they are happy...but what was it for?

@eric_hz143 @Buraq515 I have no idea what was going on🤔

@eric_hz143 The song is Outro by M83.

@eric_hz143 All kids need to know what it’s like to work hard and earn something…and to work hard, fail, and lift yourself up and try again

@eric_hz143 This takes me back. R.I.P. Sky King.

@eric_hz143 The way I don’t even know what the award is but crying

@eric_hz143 @grok what’s the name of the song in this video?

@eric_hz143 Congratulations on whatever you won! It's great to see such happiness x

@eric_hz143

@eric_hz143 What is the name of the song in the background?

@eric_hz143 No one even knows the context or what he’s even talking about. Another serving or internet slop to steal your brain capacity. Gotta be aware.

@eric_hz143 🇺🇸🇺🇸
