Men have one orgasm and the audacity to think of themselves as the origin and creators of life. What a joke, and what a cope.

Funny how nowhere in sex ed they tell you about any of this. Finding out the term Episiotomy existed and what it meant was the end of any baby having ambition for me.

A woman’s body is truly remarkable. I watched my wife give birth to our two daughters, and I’m still in disbelief of what she endured. The pain, the physical intensity, the way her body expanded and then recovered it’s nothing short of incredible. Add in the mental strength and the long recovery afterward, and it’s clear that women are built remarkably tough. God really designed something extraordinary.

These women are experiencing Epidural Shakes, notice there is no newborn baby or signs of delivery to be seen? This is likely not Postpartum Shivering as the text in the video claims.

This is completely normal. It’s caused by a massive release of adrenaline after giving birth.

Women go through a lot and someone will say, "giving birth is not a big deal."

I had this with my first child and I thought I would pass out from it. It was such a traumatic experience for me as I had never had anything like that. Thankfully my mum was with me in my hospital room when it happened. God rest her soul ❤️.

Their bodies have just gone through trauma. I know it's natural, but it's still traumatic.

I watched my daughter go thru this during her C-section. I didn’t realize pulling the baby out turns the uterus inside out and then they have to put it back into her body. She didn’t feel anything while it was happening, but she had terrible shakes.

I had shivers after the birth of my daughter. I kept asking for heated blankets. It makes sense. We lose close to 20lbs of baby, fluids and an organ ( placenta) in a short amount of time; often violently. I had the same reaction after emergency stent placement to drain a kidney infection. I was septic. In recovery, I couldn’t stop shivering. I had 5 blankets still asked for more. I shivered so violently that I vomited. Seems like it’s the body’s response to trauma.

It’s perfectly normal. Your muscles have been working very hard for a long time. They’re exhausted.

I got the shakes one time out of 3 deliveries and it honestly was one of the worst parts. You can’t stop it

Yeah. It’s not pleasant. Adrenaline has to go somewhere, and your muscles have been working really hard literally for hours. And I always say birth was the easiest part of pregnancy for me. It was the other 41 weeks (kid didn’t want to come) that sucked.

I totally experienced this. It was not a funny experience. Even with everywhere hot, all ACs turned off, it didn't stop till after a few hours

It’s from epidural/medications. I got the shakes after my first (coming down off meds) didn’t with the 2nd natural birth. I also get the shakes after surgery from Anaesthesia. Your body can’t regulate temperature after anaesthesia, it doesn’t always happen but it’s common.

Typical trauma. It can happen to a GSW, it’s involuntary physiological responses. It’s your body responding to the trauma it took. It’s like reset button to the nervous system. Adrenaline can spike and then drop so you will shake too. for women after birth it could be hormonal shifts or anesthesia effects wearing off if c-section. A number of things… Typically last up to an hour for most women.

It passes quickly and they gave me a bunch of warm blankets and it was cozy

Women should really start to see the positive instead of only negatives. That seems to be the biggest issue overall. Glass is half empty instead of half full. Think about the past? How many Women died to give birth just for life to continue? Now that pretty much never happens. Why? things like c sections Maternal mortality in developed nations dropped from over 800 per 100,000 live births in the early 20th century to under 10-20 per 100,000 today. That is a 97.5% to 98.75% decrease!!!!!!

I had this right after I had both my babies! It was sooo strange bizarre. It doesn’t hurt. It’s just intense shakes. My teeth were chattering I was shaking so hard. I was giggling because it was so doofy looking. But yup, this definitely happened to me.

This happened to me. So strange and uncontrollable, I couldn’t hold my son cause I couldn’t stop shaking. My nurse said “you’re hormones are in shock because after birth you’re not the same person anymore”

Um... how do you stop this? I had no idea this happened. Why are we always learning about new things happening during pregnancy and birth and men want to stand around telling us to just shut up? OMG fuck all the way off and continue fucking off for eternity.

I never had that after my baby. But im guessing maybe majority is natural births cuz you have to exert so much energy. 😅 like leg day when ur legs are jello. That would make more sense.

Birth is a traumatic event to the body. I can understand the body reacting like that. What I wonder is if this is explained to women in their medical visits prior to delivery.
