I left a four year climate science degree with no idea that carbon dioxide only comprised 0.04% of earth atmosphere. I studied hard, I got top marks. Tell me. What went wrong?

I don't believe you. I know there are some dodgy unis, but that's not plausible. It's like saying your engineering degree didn't mention steel, or your art history degree missed out paintings.

2 pieces of evidence showing that what went wrong is that you either went to a crap university,or you didn't do much hard work at uni. 1. You didn't know CO2 concentration in the atmosphere. 2. You still believe small concentrations cannot have big effects.

A guy at my old job pointed out that we live at the bottom of an ocean of air. Our Moon is the same distance from the Sun and when the Sun shines it instantly jumps to over 250F and when dark it's -200F. The atmosphere keeps us cool and warm, so it's not so simple as they say.

This is why I am autodidactic. If you like a subject then you can learn it yourself and never trust the "usual opinions" until you have proved them by your own testing. Learn it yourself by reading, listening and testing NOT by blindly following the words of a guru or teacher.

Really? The U. of Western Australia doesn't offer a B.S. in Climate Studies, and her ignorance of the atmosphere reflects her taking only survey courses in Environmental & Earth Science. She has never been a "climate scientist" or published in the field.
