if you got maggot'd during the climb to the boss, im pretty sure there's a secret area you can climb to in the top right here that gets you enough soul to heal

I did this without the maggot repelling tool btw Spent over 2 hours and only fought the boss like 6-7 times total while the rest was the runback and the gauntlet No other boss in the game took more attempts than that for me except for karmelita and LL

It really wasn’t that bad. You can get back in 30 seconds if you are good enough. The run backs in the game were overblown.

It gives a rewarding feeling when you beat him. The question is not on: Why does this happen to me? It should be more like: What is it trying to teach me? There are people who disagree and it is that life can be depressing, but a little hope and optimism doesn't hurt.

It wasn't great but at least he wasn't that difficult. There were definitely worse bosses. A proper downward pogo might help too.

Game of the year material right there. Nothing screams fun and great design as wasting your time and artificially bumping up the hours played to hide the fact that bosses are actually easy and reused.

At 1:18 instead of going into the area go directly up left for enough silk for a heal

Why are people using the wall grip tool? It just feels and looks bad, like its slowing you down and cutting all the fun of the smooth movement

Ever heard of petrified ducts ? There is an area where you use the bolts to open the path bellows it which leads to a 20 sec runback to the boss

Hey hey hey.... this is the secret shortcut to groal i only found it like 90 percent of the way through my attempts.

and that is the short path since you're using the hidden bench. Regular path is twice as long.

And that's if you find the hidden bench I did the full bilewater runback like 4-5 times before I found it 😭
