I like what Carmen Scheibenbogen does here. Don't present ME, LC, PAIS/IACC as "complex" or complicated! "if only we would finally understand how it works, and they don’t understand it—not because it’s so complicated, but because it has hardly been researched so far.” ENG subs 👇

@C_Scheibenbogen the patients need treatment, not tomorrow, but now. @Karl_Lauterbach when asking Sarah not to pass, should have offered something concrete. Pts have been offered for decades but not received any serious treatment help. Excellent speech by Dr. S. but treatment urgent.

@C_Scheibenbogen This battle can’t be won with the current system. Research must be free, fast, and up-to-date. The solution starts with building a Uniclinic for research and empowering truly unrestricted academics. Only then can ME/CFS and Long Covid become history. We win this battle.

@C_Scheibenbogen 👏 Like Wüst said, some of their findings are low hanging fruit, had enough scientists worked on this they would have a fruit bowl of knowledge by now. For me, it could even be as simple as an iron deficiency that got terribly out of hand, I'm slowly starting to realize 😞

@C_Scheibenbogen Probably a good idea to contain coronaviridae.
