Well hun it’s not a good adaption of dmc at all and it goes all over the place with writing and stuff to say the least. But I enjoyed it despite that and had fun I loved the music and animation a lot and my ship sailed so.

It’s just I never see this for something like Howl’s Moving Castle or Blade Runner, works that are dramatically different from their source material yet beloved? There is this purity testing in source material that gets in the way of genuinely appreciating good stories.

Dumb comparison Neither of those adaptions changed their main characters entire reasons for living for no reason at all Virgil calling his mom weak is like Luffy saying being the pirate king is dumb Ruins his entire character and derails the story completely if u have played even a single one of the games.

@SSGPrinceVegeta Howl’s moving castle injected an entire war plot that didn’t exist in the book. And the entire tone and purpose of the story was altered to Hayao Miyazaki’s vision. This isn’t canon DMC it’s something else, and with that in mind differences are to be expected.

I don’t know about that the only thing u recall liking about that was the gameplay but it’s been a very very long time. I’d have to replay it to say for sure. But I don’t think this beats the reboot cause I love the animation and music and my ship sailed and that’s more than the reboot did for me.

Explain why. What was good about it? Forced Dante and Lady's kiss? The "misunderstood" Mundus? The future "King of Makai" Vergil? I see no reason to praise this season. The only thing it evokes is disgust for Adi Shankar and everything he comes up with and does.
