I listened to Elder Dushku's devotional today and was completely blown away. "The fundamental choice we face, brothers and sisters, is not between one philosophical approach to life and another. "It is between Jesus Christ: the living Son of the living God, with His outstretched arms bearing the marks... show more

I love how Isaiah put it in this weeks CFM reading. We either make a covenant with Christ for eternal life, or we make a covenant with death. If we covenant with death then we will find the bed is too short to stretch out upon, and the blanket is too small to cover us.

Mormons are funny. I bet 99% don’t actually truly believe in it. Why else would they need 18 yr olds going on missions. All the adults are too afraid or lazy to share the gospel with anyone. Let’s guilt trip the young men into going, after all they don’t want to upset mommy

Weird how an organization fundamentally opposed to "great and spacious buildings" is borderline obsessed with constructing great and spacious buildings? So much so, that the "official" great and spacious building tally is the absolute highlight of the first Sunday in October?

“As one of the special witnesses of the name of Christ in all the world, I testify that He is the Son of the living God. Jesus is the Christ—our atoning Savior and Redeemer. Luke Belmar says Jesus is God ✝️ “I subscribe to Jesus Christ as God and the physical embodiment of divinity. Teaching us how to live, died for our sins, and rising from the dead to give us eternal life and freedom. Whoever you think controls the world, they all hate Jesus, probably because He is the truth.”

Is Jesus found in the Old Testament? Jesus Christ of Nazareth, the central figure in Christianity, is the Messiah and son of the living God. He fulfills prophecies from the Old Testament, including being born in Bethlehem, being the eternal God, the son of God, presiding over time and governments, born of a virgin, and suffering for the atonement of the world. This Jesus is the one found in the Bible, and not redefined by other religious texts. He is the same Jesus from Genesis to Revelation.

God Proved his Love on the Cross when Christ Hung, Bled, and Died — It was God saying to the World, I Love You! Drop a ❤️ if Jesus is KING “Nearly 2,000 years ago during this sacred week, the living son of God entered Jerusalem in triumph… The savior of mankind, who brought truth and light into the world, was betrayed, arrested, tried, beaten, nailed to a cross, and crucified. For our sake, he gave up his life.”

Pope Leo reflects on the Resurrection, the 'very source of our faith and hope': "With great meekness, Jesus appears to the disciples to restore communion and manifest his love, which surpasses betrayal, wounds and even death. As a sign of this love, Jesus gives the Apostles two gifts: his peace and the Holy Spirit. “Peace be with you” he says as he shows them his wounds. This is done not to shame those who abadoned him, but to assure them of his forgiveness and love, and to teach them that his death on the cross has been transformed into a sign of hope. In the giving of the Holy Spirit, Jesus entrusts the Apostles with the task of being his instruments in the world. This lesson is important for each of us: God forgives us, he raises us up, and sends us out anew. May we too be joyful witnesses of the resurrection by bringing the peace, hope and love of Christ to a broken world."

The Living Christ: Of the many significant names of the Savior, I am so inspired by the title “the Living Christ.” As one of the “special witnesses of the name of Christ in all the world” (Doctrine and Covenants 107:23) it is a special privilege for me to bear my testimony of the Savior for the first time here in Ghana as an Apostle of Jesus Christ.

Two thousand years separate us from the Apostle Paul, but the message taught today by modern-day Apostles remains the same: Jesus Christ lives. The organization of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, led by prophets and apostles, ensures that the teachings of Jesus Christ are being actively shared with God's children—just as it was in ancient times. With all the energy of my soul, I witness that the resurrected and living Christ directs the affairs of His restored and living Church through His servants who have been chosen to bear testimony of His name.

In a Church News video, Elder Gilbert talks about how it is ‘an exciting time to be part of the gospel of Jesus Christ’ The day after Elder Clark G. Gilbert was ordained as the newest member of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, he sat down for interviews with local media and declared his testimony of the Savior, Jesus Christ. “I know He lives. I know He loves us. I know He can help us repent and that we can be forgiven when we fall short,” Elder Gilbert said.

I spoke on NEWSMAX to discuss the recent horrific murder of Charlie Kirk and his memorial service today honoring his legacy of a life for Christ. This was a man of courage, bold faith, who wasn’t ashamed of the Gospel, and wanted others to go and do likewise. Regardless of his political beliefs, he made it his mission to share the love of Christ and the truth of the Gospel to millions of people. I am heartbroken for the Kirk family and by the evil that has taken place, yet because of Jesus’ great sacrifice on the cross we know that Charlie is in Heaven. Please continue to pray for Erika Kirk and the Kirk family and that God would give them peace and comfort.

Members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints invite each other and all men and women everywhere to “come unto Christ.” As a prophet has told us in the Book of Mormon: “I would that ye should come unto Christ, who is the Holy One of Israel, and partake of his salvation, and the power of his redemption” (Omni 1:26).

I spoke last weekend at a worldwide devotional for young adults about the remarkable service and example President Dallin H. Oaks has provided as an Apostle of Jesus Christ for more than four decades. The most important thing an Apostle does is testify of our Savior. For 41 years, President Dallin H. Oaks has shared his testimony as a special witness of the name of Jesus Christ. I give you my solemn and humble witness that President Oaks is the Lord’s prophet upon the earth. He knows the voice of the Savior. He will guide us in truth and point us toward the Lord Jesus Christ. President Oaks’ lifetime of testifying of the divinity of Jesus Christ inspires me to do the same. I, too, testify that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, the Savior and Redeemer of all mankind. It is through Him and His holy atonement that death and sin are conquered.
