I tried Cosco. Don’t care for it. The highly touted rotisserie chickens were bleh, the bakery was abysmal.

Also the $5 chicken is a chemical cocktail chicken you should probably avoid.

I don't think that is entirely true. Would love to see you feature the farm apps that connect people in cities to farmers in fact. I drive not quite an hour but its so worth it. I'm older so I remember what things like chicken tasted like before they washed it in bleach and injected it with fluids to rip you off. Their chicken tastes like I remember it tasting and my God raw milk so decadent I want to drink milk now. Its worth it. But people have to be willing to find them and connect then support them. I make butter from their cream, carnivore ice cream, and beef from another farm. Once you taste the difference, you can't go back.

The muffins used to be two packs for a certain price too.And they were humongous.I used to buy them for my crew at work every now and then. sad.

Pretty common for grocery stores to have their prepped foods on or near the exterior walls. Where they are cooked and the ovens exhaust vents can be more easily run to the exterior of the building 🙄

I knew all of this. Much as I hate Reddit, r/Costco has been educational. And I walk in, grab a rotisserie chicken, and leave with nothing else all the time. It's called having self-control.

The chicken being in the back is called “forced penetration.” It’s the same reason why milk, eggs, etc are always at the back of the store. The essentials are in the back so you have to pass everything and shop on your way there

I have a Costco membership for the dog biscuits. Sounds ridiculous, but I pay 1/5 the price of what I was paying for basically the same ingredients. I have them shipped at no cost. Even with my membership cost, I'm saving a ton with my pups.
