I devised a plan to have Grok Grok Bot pay for itself. I set up two Bots. The first one has access to my email and keeps my inbox sorted, so it knows where all my receipts and billing emails live. I named the second one Grinder, and its job is to handle subscriptions. It sits in support chats and logs whatever offers they make, and it's not allowed to accept deals, confirm charges, or do anything binding without asking me first. I told the email Bot to go through my billing and receipts and find every subscription I'm still paying for, what it costs, when it bills, and how to cancel each one. The plan after that was to go down the list and negotiate every price down with the threat of account termination. A few minutes later, it came back with a table of about 13 subscriptions. Three of them alone are around $300 a month. Kimi is $199, Descript is $65, Restream is $49. Then the email Bot messaged Grinder directly and handed it the first target. Grinder told me it wouldn't open anything or contact anyone until I sent the words "run it", so I sent it. It opened Restream's support chat, got through their AI agent to a real human, and when they told it to cancel itself in settings, it pushed back and asked for an actual priced offer to keep the plan since it was canceling otherwise. The support rep said they don't have a retention offer. So it went into the billing page, got to the final cancel button, and stopped there. While it was sitting on that button, its report flagged that my next payment is $39.20, not the $49 I thought I was paying. The bot looked, and there was already a discount applied to the account. I have no idea whether that came from Bot or if Restream applied it on their own, but either way, there was no better deal to get. So I kept it. All I did the whole time was sign in once and answer a system notification whenever Bot needed permission for something. Bot is going through the rest of the list now, one provider at a time, getting prices down. Canceling stuff is annoying on purpose. Bot doesn’t get annoyed.

Customer gets into an argument with the staff over their pizza, walks outside the door and immediately throws it on the ground. Takes a step and slips and falls, talk about karma coming back at you quickly. As the manager on duty I think I would understand why the customer left angry but I wouldn’t wish harm on anyone. I think I would even offer to make them a new pizza. I would take this opportunity to take a customer that will never come back, and turn it into a pleasant experience for them. Maybe the customer was just having a bad day and they flipped out for no reason, it happens to us all. But after all they did pay for a pizza because they wanted to eat it, it wouldn’t bother me that they did it themself. I would still remake it, let them enjoy their pizza and cool down, who knows, they might and realize they were wrong and apologize next time they order. That’s what I would want if this happened to me.

I “Told on Everybody” | Why Calling the Police After Prison Isn’t Simple ⚖️👀🇺🇸 I just dropped this video because people keep asking why it took me so long to finally walk into a police station and file what I filed. It wasn’t just about gathering evidence. It was also about undoing what prison does to your mind. In prison, talking to law enforcement, or even being perceived as talking to law enforcement, can get you hurt. I watched men get stabbed. I watched men get smashed with locks. I watched violence happen over rumors, assumptions, and misunderstandings. So when you come home, you’re conditioned to keep your mouth shut and handle things quietly, even when you know something is wrong. That doesn’t just switch off because you’re “free.” It takes time. It took me time. Today I walked into that back room with an investigator and I’ll be honest, it was nerve-racking. There was a shake in me because my brain still remembers what it felt like to be snatched up and shipped across the country, and never know if you’re coming back. And here’s the part that hurts the most. This involves a business I built and cared about deeply. But I can’t be associated with wrongdoing, and I’m not going to carry the weight of what other people chose to do. I’ve got employees reaching out confused, upset, laid off, asking what’s going on. And as the founder, that hits different. So yeah, I’m at the point in my life where I’m done staying quiet. I found the evidence. I filed it. 🐥 Have I ever told you about the time I had sleep paralysis? No? No? It was actually back during Boys Planet. I haven’t had it since then. It was when I was preparing the stage for Switch, which we put together in such a short time. It was one of the hardest times. I wasn’t sleeping in my usual room then. I was sharing a room with a close friend. That night, I fell asleep… and then suddenly, my eyes opened. When I opened them, that friend was sleeping while facing me with his head turned toward me. But I didn’t think much of it, just closed my eyes again. Then I opened my eyes once more and suddenly, that friend was gone! I thought “Ah, maybe he went to the bathroom.” The bathroom was over there, and I was here [middle], and he had been sleeping next to me but wasn’t anymore. So I assumed he went to the bathroom. But then I closed my eyes again and opened them… and someone was standing right in front of my bed. And it was that friend. He was standing there! And then suddenly started sliding sideways, slowly walking toward me. But my body wouldn’t move. I was trying to speak, but all I could do was stare with my eyes open. Just blinking like this. Then suddenly, that friend leaned his head toward my shoulder! Like a drill! At that moment, chills ran all over my body. He kept coming closer, like drilling into me. This woman was 12 minutes late to the gate and the airline gave their seats to other customers with standby tickets. The rules are rules for a reason but if the gates are still open, is this just being petty? They are there now so I don’t see why they can’t just have the seats they paid for. I thought I had plenty of time so as I walked to get something to eat I saw some of the gate time displays and in the corner of the screen displayed a time. I was confused because when I looked at my watch it said 1:30pm, my flight left at 2:30pm and the time on the screen was 2:25pm. I kept walking and passed a gift shop that had a clock and it also said 2:25pm. I hurried to the employee at the shop and asked what time it was and they pointed to the clock meaning that was the actual time. I took off to the gate because I knew there was a big chance I wasn’t going to make my flight. I got there right at 2:30pm. They were getting just letting the last people on. I had my ticket in hand and she said she had to make sure I could still board. Initially when she walked back she had a worried look on her face as if she had bad news, I was prepared for the worst but luck was on my side as she said they agreed to let me on. My next flight I wasn’t so lucky but I will save that for another time. My luck ran out for the rest of the day though, it made me think if I was better off missing that flight. The guy I was sat by snored bad, I had a delay at my next connecting flight, and the food they gave me made me nauseated but I was still thankful I made it home on time.

This woman was 12 minutes late to the gate and the airline gave their seats to other customers with standby tickets. The rules are rules for a reason but if the gates are still open, is this just being petty? They are there now so I don’t see why they can’t just have the seats they paid for. I remember when I was almost sprinting to the gate because the watch j was wearing stopped working, I just didn’t know it.
