For me, this moment from the scene works so well because it feels very real... There’s no big horror music or over-the-top acting, just a woman in a vulnerable state confronting someone she saw lurking.... The towel adds to the helplessness. It makes the scene feel intimate and uncomfortable, like you’re witnessing something you shouldn’t... It’s a small scene, but it stuck with me because it builds quiet dread really effectively. It makes you wonder what's coming after her and why she’s so shaken...
