I love both Eagly and Krypto but here’s John Cena’s take (although he seems to be forgetting Krypto has superpowers). Superman Peacemaker on HBO Max

Krypto arrives on screens in Superman this summer. Krypto was inspired by our dog Ozu, who we adopted shortly after I started writing Superman. Ozu, who came from a hoarding situation in a backyard with 60 other dogs & never knew human beings, was problematic to say the least. He immediately came in & destroyed our home, our shoes, our furniture - he even ate my laptop. It took a long time before he would even let us touch him. I remember thinking, “Gosh, how difficult would life be if Ozu had superpowers?” - and thus Krypto came into the script & changed the shape of the story as Ozu was changing my life. What better time to debut the not-so-good-good-boy Krypto than #AdoptAShelterDog month. Btw, Ozu today, is, fairly often, a very good boy. #Superman

Watching John Cena try to fake doing drugs was probably the funniest behind-the-scenes of the first episode. Watch the new episode of Peacemaker on HBO Max on HBO Max and watch the Official #Peacemaker Podcast right after! Watch now:

Two worlds, twice as much peace. The follow-up to Superman, #Peacemaker Season 2, begins August 21 on HBO Max and other fine platforms around the world.

Superman grew up on a Kansas farm with working dogs. Krypto is NOT a bad dog. Clark trained that animal to perfection and I don’t want to hear anything else. 😭

The reason I will forever defend Krypto attacking Lex after his speech is because it’s EXACTLY WHAT LEX DESERVES He thinks so highly of himself that he deserves to have a final showdown with Superman and final say, but he doesn’t even get to do that He gets humiliated by a dog

100% He didn’t give up until he had no choice to If Superman had it his way, he’d die on his sword. But it was so poetic that John Cena’s last lesson in the ring was that life doesn’t always go your way and you have to be okay with failure. #ThankYouCena
