Madonna explains why she got mad & cried because of Al Pacino's method acting in "Dick Tracy" (1990): "Interviewer: Describe the relationship between the two characters, Breathless and Big Boy. Madonna: I had nothing but contempt for Big Boy. And he would treat me like a bad little girl. He was always slapping me and spanking me. And in terms of being on the set, whenever Al Pacino put his prosthetics on, his suit, he was a gross pig. And he’s not that way in real life—he’s very gracious, and well-mannered, and gentlemanly, and sweet... . As Big Boy, he would tell me the dirtiest jokes and suck on his cigar like it was some sort of weird phallic symbol, and just be a pig. He was always smacking my butt and my face. I hated him, I loathed him, I was disgusted with him. And so what happened off-camera was that I’d always try to be moving away from him, and he’d always grab me and go “Get over here!” which is exactly what happened in the movie. Every time I expressed my distaste for him, he would smack me, which is also what happened in the movie. I got mad. He made me cry sometimes. There was a scene where he kept smacking me in the stomach, and it would sting, and what made me cry was not so much the hit, but the fact that Warren Beatty wouldn't stop. He would just keep going, and I was humiliated. So it worked, because that’s what’s happening to Breathless—she’s totally humiliated by Big Boy. Interviewer: Did you always stay in character off-camera? Madonna: Yes. I always do, in all my movies." ("Dick Tracy: The Making of the Movie", Mike Bonifer, 1990)

You were born in the middle of the night, in the midst of the biggest, most beautiful snowstorm NY had seen in years!! I remember riding in the car and looking out the window, where everything was twinkling and covered in white that night, as I held you both in my belly for the last few moments before I gave birth to you. It was as if God was making sure you would enter a world full of pure magic!! In my heart, I knew that’s how your life would always be!! When I would hold you as infants, I honestly felt as if I were holding two angels sent straight from heaven above. My life was changed forever. I cannot believe you are now adults…18 years old! You are both so kind-hearted, generous, and loving. How lucky the world was on this day 18 years ago when God decided to send you here with all of your talents and spirit and heart to make this world a better place, because that is what you do for me and anyone who is lucky enough to know you both every day. “I love you” could never encapsulate the depth of feeling, affection, and care that I have for you, my coconuts. It has always been the three of us!! We have been on this journey together. We have always had each other to hold on to and be that steady presence in the middle of any snowstorm. And I promise you, my beautiful coconuts, no matter how big you get, that’s how it will always be. Always remember, Lulu, you are my sunshine…and Max, you’re amazing just the way you are!! I love you I love you Happy 18th Birthday, my wonder twins!!!

🚨ANNOUNCEMENT! New Partnership + AI Coaching Offer from Anyman Fitness and Spren 🚨 I have a big announcement to make… For the last 18 months I’ve been working quietly behind the scenes on a BIG project… You may have seen me post about the iOS app “Spren” - a groundbreaking app that tests your body fat % using just your iPhone. The app has been 3rd party tested and is as accurate as a DEXA scan. If you’re into fitness, you know how wild that statement is. A DEXA scan is the gold standard for body fat testing (and they cost $200+ to get one). The Spren CEO (Jason Moore) reached out to me in 2023 and he had a proposal. He wanted to create an AI based coaching offer for people who tested their body fat % with Spren and were unhappy with the results. But he didn’t want it to be generic like Chat GPT. He wanted to model the AI after a coach with extensive experience working with the general public. For the last 18 months, we have been working behind the scenes building this offer, and it just got released to the public. The AI has been fully trained on my coaching strategies, teachings, preferences, and mindset/motivational style. Here’s how it works: • Send a text message to 734-499-1101 • If you’re outside of the US, send the text via What’s App • You’ll be sent a link to learn everything the AI can do for you • You get unlimited scans on the Spren iOS body fat testing app ($70 value) • You get a customized nutrition plan for your goals, and “AI me” will guide you on your journey You connect the app to your macro tracker and wearable. Every few weeks, you scan your body fat % again, and “I” will make adjustments as needed for you to make swift and rapid progress. The best part? I don’t take breaks. I’m always here for you. The “style” is all me… You need reminders to get your butt off the couch and go to the gym? I got you. You need done-for-you meal plans that hit your macros/calories exactly? I got you. You need recipe ideas? Workouts when traveling? Exercise substitutions? Supplementation questions? Or you just want to shoot the breeze? (Lol) I got you! I’m here, 24/7, in your back pocket. I’m thrilled to have a shared vision with Spren on this. To learn more about this new, cutting-edge offer, send a text to 734-499-1101 and check it out!

OutKast has been inducted into the 2025 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. The Atlanta rap duo accepted the honor, presented by Childish Gambino, at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles on Saturday evening (Nov. 8). “Your influence echoes in everything, in every artist I love,” Gambino said before presenting André 3000 and Big Boi with the prestigious honor. “Atlanta is not the music mecca it has become without you. There is no Childish Gambino without you. There is no South without you. So tonight, we honor two visionaries who turned differences into a dynasty. Two brothers who showed the world you don't have to choose. Just respect each other and love each other. Ladies and gentlemen, the truly undeniable OutKast.” When Big Boi and André hit the stage to give their acceptance speech, they engaged in a game of Rock, Paper, Scissors to see who would go first. Big Boi kicked things off by running through a list of names they wanted to thank. “First, ooh Lord, I want to thank the Most High for sure having us here tonight and for me meeting my brother from day one for sure,” Big Boi said. During Three Stacks’ speech, which he said he freestyled, he got emotional when recalling how OutKast started out in a small room in the Dungeon Family studio. André was inspired by Jack White of The White Stripes mentioning “little rooms” in his own Rock Hall acceptance speech. “One thing that Jack said, man, Jack, he’s one of my favorites, man. We love you, man. One thing he said, he said something about little rooms. And we started in a little…,” André paused to collect himself while getting emotional. “Little rooms. Great things start in little rooms.” Big Boi went on to celebrate the induction by performing sans André a medley of OutKast hits with Tyler, The Creator, J.I.D, Killer Mike, Janelle Monáe and Doja Cat.

I f*cking love skateboarding! There's this cool idea in skating called progression. Basically you treat skating like a video game and each session you wanna do 1 new trick that gets you to the next level. And you compete w/ your buds on who progresses faster. And you can progress on a trick level. So like this week I did a boardslide on a tough rail. Instead of saying "I'm gonna slide this rail right now," which is scary, you break it into small steps. Step 1 is just jumping on the rail, which is scary, then just hopping off. Try that 10 times. No longer afraid. Step 2 is just sliding a few inches then hopping off. Step 3 is trying to land and falling ten times. Then after an hour of trying you land it. The hardest part is step 1 -- just attempting it. But the fear goes away after 20 min of trying. Kinda an easy way to approach a big scary thing. I also love the punk rock culture. Early skaters basically created vlogging. I grew up reading thrasher and watching these amazing videos of skaters documenting traveling to a skate spot, getting kicked out by cops, then coming back at night to get it. Early Jackass TV shows? They were made and inspired by skate videos. This whole content creating internet culture? Its been part of the skate culture since the 80's. I've always loved the guerrilla, DIY vibe. Particularly as I get more yuppie, older and more into this sometimes lame internet bubble, I LOVE going to the skatepark on Sat and Sunday and hanging with a bunch of rough skater kids who don't give a sh*t about this dumb internet stuff. But yeah, I'm 36 years old and lie to my buds about what I'm doing when I'm really at the skatepark practicing tre flips. But GOD ITS SO FUN.

"You had very fine people on both sides..." If you only listen to that one sentence out of context, you will believe that he's equating white supremacists with protesters who want to take down monuments. But listen to the rest and you'll see that's a lie. Plenty of reasons to dislike and criticize Trump, but lies in the end only cause distrust. They might work for a while, but eventually people will discover that they are being taken for fools. And you won't get that trust back. Leaving off essential context IS a type of a lie. And this far from the only example. This happens every day towards all sorts of people who are not Trump. Look for the full unedited clip, always. Once I started doing that, my eyes opened. It was a big part of my journey and why I speak openly about things today. I don't hate journalism or journalists. I love both...when they do their job properly. When they don't, we are failed as a society on a massive level. Today, when I hear an accusation that someone like Trump said something insane, my reaction is to set aside my biases and verify. I don't believe or disbelieve it until I can check (sometimes it is true!). But repeated deception has led so many people to just reject everything the mainstream media says wholesale, even when it's true. They shouldn't, they should verify. But that's the reality. And it's the manipulation of narratives by media and a number of institutions that has led us here. Distrust is at an all time high. Quickest way to lose trust? Be caught in lies.
